When I first read THE LIGHT OF ASTERIA, I was blown away. Check out the review here. I fell in love with Kailmeyra and the characters of this amazing world. Nora and Gavin’s love is pure, and they don’t explore the usual tediousness in young relationships. They share an amazing connection.

What I loved in the second book was, even though we still saw the connection and purity of their love, they faced much deeper and darker obstacles. Even questioned at times. Gavin was darker. And I didn’t know

The Secret of the Keepers starts right where LoA left off, and man, have I been waiting for this!!! We jump right back into their ride to their honeymoon, and Elizabeth gratefully does not make us wait long. She manages to beautifully balance the need for steam and a bit of detail with modesty and everything is appropriate.
The lyrical flow of Nora's voice is still present, and reading her thoughts and following her journey is such a joy. Emotions are a big part of SotK too, and Elizabeth has su

I was super excited to read this book after reading Elizabeth Isaac’s first book A Light of Asteria and I have to say, she has done a fantastic job with The Secrets of Keepers and I loved it just as much as the first.

In this book, we see Nora finally marry the man of her dreams; Gavin. They take a long honeymoon so they can get to know each other more and get used to all their advanced gifts that being couple brings. Everything is going great until war comes to the Kailmeyra’s land and Nora and
Ahh, Kailmeyra goodness, how I've missed thee. For anyone who hasn't read the first book in a bit or just starting the series, read these two together if you can. These two flow so well together you won't be disappointed. Unlike most series this second book is just as strong and well written as the first. Only being sick kept me from reading this straight through.

I love Beth's fluid writing ability. Every page is just so carefully written it makes me wonder what's wrong with a lot of other aut

Authors such as Elizabeth Isaacs make you take step back in awe, amazed at the capabilities that a single writer has, affecting you on a new and exciting level. Secrets of the Keepers, the 2nd installment continues to show the amazing talents of Elizabeth Isaacs in creating a gorgeous new world full of wonder, amazement, and unspeakable beauty.

Nora's journey in Kailmeyra continues, this time as the wife of Gavin, the love of her life. That is not all that is new with Nora - as Nora and Gavin gro
Another amazing story! It is very refreshing to read of love, courage, faith and honor. All of this wrapped up in a fast paced adventure! I highly promote all ages to read this series. I am anxiously awaiting book three!
Loved it!! Gavin and Nora are excited to see how the series will conclude in Book 3. I was literally holding my breath for about the last 1/4 of this book with anticipation of what I was reading....

I think I should start a fan club!!!!
How lucky am I in that I didn’t have to wait that long after reading The Light of Asteria by Elizabeth Isaacs before I got to read the sequel, The Secret of the Keepers? VERY is the answer! But for everyone who had to wait, let me tell you that it is so, so worth it! If you’ve read my review for the first book here then you’ll know how much I love this story and I couldn’t wait to dive back into the world of Kailmeyra. I’ve come to know and love the characters almost as much as Nora does I think ...more

Elizabeth Isaacs has again delivered an awe inspiring novel filled with raw emotion, passion and sense driven visualisation.

The Secrets of the Keeper (Kailmeyra #2) is a wonderful creation continuing the story of Nora and her new found life with her love Gavin in his world of Kailmeyra.

As a reader you will grow alongside Nora as she discovers her six thought lines, her ambition to connect with the people of Kailmerya and her constant and ever evolving love and understanding for Gavin

Another gorgeously written tale by Elizabeth Isaacs, for those of you who haven’t read anything by Elizabeth you are in for a beautifully written journey. ‘The Light of Asteria’, book # 1 was a rather mind blowing read for me. Elizabeth has this very unique writing style that you will not come across very often. There is a lot of passion in her words, but also a gentleness.

Elizabeth Isaacs, has done it again! She has pulled me into the world of Kailmeyra, and left me stunned at the beauty of her work.

The Secret of the Keepers: Kailmeyra's Strength (Kailmeyra #2) was awesome. It picks up right where The Light of Asteria leaves off.

Nora is now married to the man of her dreams and living in the beautiful land of Kailmeyra, where beautiful creatures roam about and where the pure of hearts live.

The darkness of the Dokkalfar threatens the purity and peace o

I locked my knees trying to ignore the way he turned my bones to mush. “I love you.” I whispered, not knowing what else to say.

After finishing The Light of Asteria, I knew I had to get my hands on book two as soon as possible. I must say picking up The Secret of the Keepers I was a little nervous, The Light of Asteria was breathtaking! I was worried wondering how author Elizabeth was going to pull off book two being just as amazing…but of course being Elizabeth Isaacs she did just that! The Secr

What can I say about this book...

In The Secret of the Keepers Nora and Gavin have taken the plunge and gotten married. But with their marriage comes responsibilities and war. Nora and Gavin work together to unite their people and fight against the darkness. But some things Nora must do on her own...without Gavin. As Nora comes to trust her people and her new powers she becomes a new person. One that would do anything to protect the people she love.

This book was AMAZING. Elizabeth once again capti
I would like to thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing this world with us. It's amazing and you have such a talent for making us readers feel what you are describing. I could practically feel the love flowing between Nora and Gavin and that was what I enjoyed the most in this series. The pure love, no jealousy, no anger, just love and forgiveness. The books has a strong message that we should all listen too, and I hope MANY people will read them. THANK YOU! And your creativity is mind blowing. I envy ...more

Oh my god. This sequel is better than the first book. I got the first book free from Amazon (when it was for a limited time). This had more action and was more intense. I tire and scare of all the turmoil the characters have to go through in other books, but surprisingly, this one did not make me feel that way. It's weird. I just noticed it now, too.

But, like the first book, there were a few times where I wondered what just happened. There's so much detail and so much hidden meaning in the use o

O how I adore this series!!! They are intense and romantic! They make me want to live in a fairy land! This book is the sequel to The Light of Asteria and it was a good one! This one had a lot emotion in it because the author throws in some mad twists! I remember at one point I threatened to stop reading because I was so mad at the situation going on in the plot! Sometimes I have to calm myself down and remind myself to get past the climax! Highly recommended but keep in mind it is definitely a ...more
This book took my breath away more than once! Again, I love the purity of Nora and Gavins love and that through the difficult times they stay strong and their devotion is true. Gavin's instinct to protect is every girl's dream. Nora's intentions are always so pure and you know she'd do anything for her Love as well. I found myself feeling happiness, pain, sorrow, love, right along with the characters. Fantastic Elizabeth Isaacs! I cannot wait for the next chapter in Gavin & Nora's life.

Though, this is not the cover just so everyone knows :D

Wowza! That's the best word to describe The Secret of the Keepers! Isaacs delivers a knock-out with the sequel to her debut novel, The Light of Asteria! Action, romance, mystery, and betrayal... The Secret of the Keepers can't be missed!

The story kicks off with Gavin and Nora traveling to the most incredible place anyone can imagine. If that isn't enough, their journey is leading them to the place they'll spend their honeymoon. As always, Isaacs doesn't let us down in the swoon department, but m
Elizbaeth Isaacs is one of those authors that in my experience have this uncanny ability to sneak up on you and take you by complete surprise. When I came across her first book after it was recommend to me I'll admit it sounded interesting but I never would have guessed just how much I'd come to appreciate Isaacs' writing and the world in which she created. Even knowing how much I enjoy her writing style and the characters I was introduced to in her series opener, The Light of Asteria, when it c ...more
Its a lovely book filled with adventure, action, love, magic and fantasy!
I loved reading first book and i am looking for third one eagerly.
Nora n Gavin are married and are exploring their new life as mates..but the darkness has gotten a way to enter kalimeyra and every ones life is at stake.
Nora have to learn, defend, use her strength more than ever to save the kingdom from the clutches of evil. But what happens when the only person who your life depends on is gone? Can her strength still be as it si?C
Great second book in the series. Love watching Nora and Gavin grow as individuals and as a couple. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Again, it took me a bit of time to get into this author’s efficient writing style, and I had trouble with some of her descriptions of the character traits. For instance, Nora has six streams of thought, one of which she calls her “wild child,” which was a strange description IMO.
Did not dissapoint!! I actually feel as if I've formed a special bond with each and every one of the characters. By the end of the book, I was an emotional wreck though! Definitely happy that all of the characters stayed true to themselves. I cannot wait to see where the next installment takes them :)
I truly enjoyed reading this delightful sequel. It had my heart racing and my mind fully bent on true love. I cannot wait for the next book!

*Minor SPOILER from the previous book

I really enjoyed The Light of Asteria and ever since reading it I have been jonesing for its sequel. When Elizabeth contacted me about reviewing it I could not have been happier.

It took me a little while to get back into the thick of things, because I honestly didn't remember some of the characters names and events of the previous book. However after a while I felt myself draw
Ms. Isaacs has written a story that I felt is outstanding. The pick up right as it was left off. I loved seeing Nora and Gavin grow as a couple. I also felt the grew as individuals as well. Now if this book at least stuck to its convictions maybe I could have overlooked the persistent plot holes and meandering dribble that spouts from the characters. These close relationships seem to sprout like miracle grow, ere really was no foundation for Nora's relationships with any of these characters. They all seem forced to make the story get to the supposedly productive parts (where she is supposed to be on her own because she can be the only one to do the deed) but even this flaw is not d ...more
