Seeing the Light

McKinley met Jamil while on vacation and fell madly in love. She gave up everything to be his lady. On the outside, she appears to have it all and they seemed to be the perfect couple. Appearances are deceiving. McKinley is frustrated with the broken promises and spending her nights alone. Every time she feels she has had enough and is ready to throw in the towel, Jamil flips the script on her and works his charm to get her to reconsider. What will it take for her to see the ligh
Keisha Ervin is one of my favorite authors...but I must be honest and say this book was just ok to me...This was not one of the best books I have read by her...but it was a good book.Very funny..I like how she incorporated songs and jokes into her story.... Either way she still does magic with the pen so...I would recommend this book...It's a good read...

this was a really good book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I'm so glad McKinley found her happily ever after with someone that truly loved her and I was glad when she was able to find closer from that cheating jamil even though he was leading a double life she held no ill will towards him in the end she still loved him and was able to move on with her life

Mckinley is just stupid, she gave it all up for Jamil when he treated her like sh*t, he played her and then when she thought all was good he gave her the his final play. Mckinley then meets Koran, sleeps with him on the first so called date and there ride begins. I hope there is a part two because of how the story ended. i love all Keshia Ervins books but this one was just to short for the characters to develop and predictable. but it was still a good read.
Although it took me a minute to figure out what the connection was between the characters in this story and Finding Forever, I found it to be an enjoyable read. My only complaint is that it was just too short...
I like this book, I just think it coulda been longer!!!
