“Something deep within my core told me that my encounters with Hannah were more than random acts of chance: There was a higher purpose – a reason – that we were repeatedly being drawn together, and it was up to me to determine exactly what that was without risking her welfare. However, my greatest challenge to this rested with three of the most powerful guardians in the Tr ...more

I really thought there was no way this book was going to be just as good as Anomaly, I was right… It was better.

Calm down, I know, how can it be better??? I loved the last one how can this one be even better?

First there was no annoying upper crust dialog. Secondly I was never confused in this one as to what was going on with so and so’s balance, mantle, or order. If you read the first you know what I am talking about. If you didn’t read the first… well…. Um… why not? It’s only $.99 and now you

I wasn’t a fan of the first book in this series, and the only thing I liked about this one was that it was short.
There wasn’t anything awful about this book, it just wasn’t for me. It’s like opening a bag of Revels and finding out that they’re all coffee flavour – that’s the exact same look I get on my face when I read a book in this series. I find all weird words they use about guardians and lineage and fledgelings and **yawn** just irritating, and it goes in one ea

This book it's the second of the Tri Realms Saga, by K.C. King.

The story of the first one was incredible and with this one, it only gets better.

We continue discovering new parts of Bree. New branches on her history and we get the answer for many question that I've been having in the first book. I understand so much about the guardians and the branches that keep the story believable.

Alaik is the character that I felt the need to follow on this book. He just makes me wanna punch him on the face

I have two major problems with this book. First, it ended all too soon for my liking. Secondly, the final installment in the saga is not yet available.

I have always been one to devour books, some with fervor, others with apathy and a need to be done with it. Either way, I always complete the task at hand, to escape into another realm and hopefully take some of it back to reality with me as I reemerge into this funny thing we call life. Fledgling is most definitely high in the former category. M

I applaud how well these books were written. Too many books in this genre are so horribly verbally diluted, which is completely opposite of this series. Sooooo refreshing! I had to actually think with this series in order to absorb all the creativity of this author's world and how it worked.

Really looking forward to the third book.

Very good. Again it was beautifully written. The story goes deeper with lots of important information and revelations. I really love Bree and Sebastian together. I hope it stays that way. I'll never trust Alaik, he's too shady. Can't wait to see what the next books holds.

I really did enjoy this book. Its an easy, short read and was pretty solid throughout the whole thing. I thought the author did a much better job at balancing a large vocabulary with necessity and found her writing felt much less forced. I also found that this book did a better job with using descriptions as needed versus pages and pages of confusing text. The story left you wondering what would happen and lead me to already purchase book 3. Looking forward to seeing how this story ends.

I hate to say it but I found myself skipping through numerous parts of this book just to see if it would get better, however the very end turned it around just slightly for me and I will read the final book more then likely just to see how this story will conclude.

I didn't like this book quite as much as the first, but I did like getting to learn more about Sebastian and the world that was created/explained in the first book, but not thoroughly understood.

K.C. King's love affair with books began with Charlotte's Web when she was eight. A true Aquarian, she's a dreamer whose John Grisham obsession resulted in her choice to study linguistics and law. When she's not writing, travelling, or enjoying cappuccinos in kangaroo cups, you'll probably find her in her own world: Somewhere between Metropolis and Austen's 19th Century England.
