I met Hilary at BEA - at the Book Blogger Convention actually - and this sounded like a fun story. It contains some autobiographical elements from her own life that enhance the tale.
This is Hilary's debut YA novel.

Just met Hilary at a book signing. Besides that she is awesomely into contemporary, I WANT HER BOOK. Is it June yet? This sounds hilarious and includes all things I love: broken friendships, road trips and bands [we] used to love.
