This book would be perfect to read to students on the first day of school! Bear is ready for his first day of school and has everything figured out because his sibling told him about the teacher he has. However, when Bear gets to school he learns that he does not have that teacher and must figure out what to do with the new teacher.

A Teacher for Bear is a wonderful book for children going to school for the first time. Often children with older siblings will come to school expecting it to be just as their older brother or sister had told them and find things change. Bear also finds out is good to do things his own way and be different and he has the new teacher that understands this need of the Bear.

Such a sweet book. It would be a lovely gift for a child off on his or her first day of school, or for college student entering a teaching program.
