The Story:

Jessica Marlowe, PR whiz, is brought in to remake NASA's image, to make space exploration matter to the average American again. Her master plan involves singling out one of the only unattached, childless, and extremely handsome astronauts at NASA, and pitching him to America as the 'face' of the agency and space flight in general. At the same time, she is focused on furthering her career, and waging her own battle against internal power struggles at her PR firm. The last thing she trul
I loved this book right from the start all the way through to the finish.

The author has a talent for capturing her reader and not letting them go and by the end of the Epilogue I was caught hook, line and sinker and didn't want put this book down until I got to the end and got some answers!.

I am not going to spoil it and give the reason why or give any hints as I think it would spoil it if you but will say that it is a good read.

This is one rocking and enjoyable story with great characters, smoking hot chemistry and a pace that never lags and instead flows seamlessly, making you not want to stop.

Jessica is a dedicated professional who lives for success and her job at her PR firm because that is what she learnt from her much older, but absent father and hew newest job is to make NASA popular, so she comes with a plan make it sexy and her model is Commander Deke.

Deke on the other hand wants no part of it, he'd rather do h

As I was reading this book, I was trying to remember if I’ve ever read a book centered around space and astronauts. Pretty sure I haven’t. I was also trying to remember the last time I read a book with a prologue that started out 12 years in the future. Can’t say I remember that happening either, at least not recently. The start of the story is so strong, and starting us out in the current year, 2011 for the prologue, but going back 12 years to tell the m

I’ve been a big fan of Roxanne St. Claire for years. Whether I’m reading about Bullet Catchers or Guardian Angelinos she’s an auto-buy author for me and now she has a brand new contemporary with a side of suspense, a wonderful, amazing story called Space In His Heart featuring a “Top Gun” Astronaut in Deke Stockard.

I was hooked from the prologue.

From the moment Deke spots the PR whiz from Bahston Jessica Marlowe that NASA has hired to give the space pro

My Review:
Let me just preface this review by saying, that there is NO WAY that I can eloquently express how truly wonderful this book is. OMG, I loved this book!! The whole story line in this book is based around the fact that America has lost interest in NASA and Jessica, the heroine, has been hired as the new PR person to take care of that. Well, like the story line, I wasn't too interested in the NASA aspect of this story. But I knew that I loved Roxanne's writing so I knew that I wanted to r

This is a brand new, full-length never-been-published, stand alone romantic suspense by Roxanne St. Claire written with the author's trademark wit, sass and sizzle. It is truly SUPERB! I hated to see it end. It is the type of romance that leaves you smiling ear-to-ear and completely satisfied.

I bought this book the day it was released in digital format back in November, but somehow it got lost in my TBR list on my kindle. I saw several people talking about it on twitter and various blogs and knew I had to move it up my list. I’m so glad I did too. I’ve read almost every book Roxanne St. Claire has published and I’m a huge fan. I love her Bullet Catchers books and her Guardian Angelinos books so much, and she once again delivers with Space in His Heart.

I loved Deke from the very first
I loved this book. I mean, I seriously loved it. I still think Julie James top my current list of contemporary romance authors but if Roxanne continues publishing books like SiHH, she's going to give Julie a run for her money.

I won't go into the synopsis of the story since the other reviewers have already done that. This review is about my reaction to this astronaut-romance. This is the first I've read and don't recall any other romance writer having an astronaut as a hero. I'd asked Roxanne if

Ms. St. Claire's knowledge of the space program is so extensive I had to check the NASA roster to make sure she wasn't an employee. I always felt that movies like the Bourne series excel because they are filmed on location. SPACE IN HIS HEART was 'filmed' on location, with authentic references that gave the book complete legitimacy. The romance *sigh*, the romance was one that will make me sigh for the next week at least. I am humbled by Ms. St. Claire's writing skills. Bravo on a fantastic roma ...more
I really had a great time reading this book. I've always been a big fan of Roxanne St. Claire and this book did not disappoint. What's not to love when the hero is a hunky Alpha-Pilot-Astronaut-Engineer....seriously that's pretty darn impressive! Lots of behind the scenes action at NASA and a nice steamy buildup to the romance. Fantastic book!

I've been reading Roxanne St. Claire for years, all of her contemparies and all of her romantic suspense, this is one of my favorites. As someone who has lived near Johnson Space Center my whole life this story struck a cord with me. I loved both Deke and Jessie and their story was both believable and sweet.

Anytime I cannot put a book down to do the things I NEED to do, its five stars for me. That was the case when I started Space in His Heart.

This book has so much anticipation revolving around the characters relationship & how no matter how hard you try, you cannot control your feelings or destiny.

The setting takes place at Cape Canaveral (NASA). This book makes you think about the importance of the work the people at NASA do and how it affects our daily lives. Throw in a Pubic Relations nigh
I've loved every Roxanne St. Claire book I've picked up so far, and Space in His Heart is no exception. I loved the uniqueness of this story; the hottie astronaut and the hot-shot PR rep were a brilliant combination and the plot was original. As always, St. Claire came through with humorous, witty dialogue and chemistry that crackled with heat and sexual tension. This one does not disappoint, I highly recommend it.
Roxanne St Claire has always been a favorite author and Space in his Heart does not disappoint. This book had me from the prologue which hooked me and left a sense of foreboding. I was already invested in the heroine by chapter one. The hero was strong and the sexual tension almost instantaneous. Don't miss this or any of Roxanne's other awesome books!!
Really enjoyed this! (I love all of this authors books :) Book moved right along...good story, nice romance...suspense. Made me really root for NASA and think about all that they do. She had lots of information but not presented in a way that you felt like you were doing a research paper. It was exciting and interesting!
I was immersed into this story almost from page one! I'm fairly ignorant of the space programs, embarrassed to say, but loved the insight into that world that Roxanne took me on. It was like watching a really great movie that you don't want to end! Superb!

This was an easy, fun read by Roxanne St. Claire. I have to say I quite enjoyed the astronaut/NASA theme. It's different, very original.

Jessica Marlowe works for a PR firm and she's been tasked with popularizing NASA. She thinks the best way to do that is to make it sexy. And what better way to do that than to use Deacon Stockard a very sexy astronaut. Jessica is very good at her job and she's not going to let Deke's unwillingness stop her from succeeding. This is about her career, after

I’m a dedicated Roxanne St. Claire fan, and SPACE IN HIS HEART definitely delivers! Ms. Claire is a hugely gifted author with a unique voice that appeals to readers of romance and commercial fiction. Her latest release, SPACE IN HIS HEART, is a wonderful novel with strong characters that speak from the heart. Jessica Marlowe is a PR specialist whose newest assignment is to administer CPR to NASA’s space program. When astronaut Commander Deke Stockar
I've read many books by Roxanne St. Claire and this is by far my favorite. The book is centered around NASA and the space program in Florida. Deke is a strong, smart, career driven man and Jessica is a PR expert who has been assigned to give the space program an image facelift. Deke is resistant to being the poster-boy for the space program and Jessica is determined to make it work. The chemistry between the two is magnetic and continues even as Jessica struggles with her own issues at work. Thi ...more

Loved this book! Jessica Marlowe is the PR superstar of her Boston office and sent to NASA to make America fall in love with the space program. Deke Stockard is one of the brightest and best astronauts and is chosen to be the poster boy of space. He isn't interested in being part of the PR campaign, he thinks it's a dumb idea and doesn't have the time to spare for the campaign because he is concerned about the safety of the shuttle. They both fight their attraction to each other and about the PR ...more
Corporate intrigue, patriotism, the space shuttle program and love!!! Rocki pulled it all together in a read that I couldn't put down. Being a space junkie and a Floridian, we made sure to position ourselves to be able to view shuttle launches and would watch and listen for the return. Miss that so much. This story touched my heart on so many levels I wish it didn't have to end!!! I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys contemporary romance/fiction!

What an awesome love story combined with a great tribute to the end of an much heart, typical st.claire intrigue & two passionate, witty, & bitingly sarcastic leads put this book at the top of my list for recommended reads to all! Love, love, loved every minute.
This is a really well written romance that is completely believable. Jessica Marlowe is a PR consultant who's been assigned to NASA to upgrade their public image and improve funding. She is a focused career woman and hopes to get a promotion at the end of this project. She chooses Deke Stockard as her astronaut of choice to become the sexy new look of NASA. To say the least he is not happy. He is busy trying to find problems with the shuttle and planning his next mission. What makes this such a g ...more
Explosive & Endearing....One for the keeper shelf!

Mmmm...what a heart-stopper this book is in oh so many pulse-pounding and delicious ways. While I do have to admit I would've much preferred for our super sexy hero, Deke Stockard, to have moved at the much faster speed of sound in the beginning of the book, while pursuing our sultry, svelte and unstoppable heroine, Jessica Marlowe, similar to his rocket-propelled space shuttle or screaming 500mph jet, or maybe even his somewhat slower but ne
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book. I'm not the biggest fan of NASA and didn't know if I could really get into the story. I ended up really, really enjoying it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the first quarter of the book really drug along for me. I appreciated all the info Ms. St Claire gave us on NASA, I really did, but it felt like forever before the real story started. I didn't feel like it was an "info-dump". It was done in a very well written way and always ...more
Between My BookEndz
I love Roxanne St. Clair’s books, but the title of this book gave me pause for some reason. Then I read the plot summary - PR ace Jessica Marlowe comes up with a campaign to put the “sexy” in the NASA space program, with Astronaut Deke Stockard front a center. Deke, of course, would rather focus on the upcoming space shuttle launch. I turned to the first page and….I was hooked!

From the first heart-pounding chapter to the Epilogue, I could not put this book down. Jessica and Deke had chemistry ti
When reading this book, allow time to finish. Once you start you will not want to stop. Really nice twist at the end.

Romance, suspense, intrigue, plot twists. Roxanne St. Claire at her best is superb. On a scale of 1-5 this book is a 10.

I don’t know about you, but when I check out an author's bio, it’s usually because I’ve read a book I liked and wondered about the person behind it. Let's skip the formal bio and I'll give you the inside scoop on who Roxanne St. Claire really is.

First of all, call me Rocki. Everyone does. Evidently, when my mother brought me home from the hospital I seemed too scrawny and small to pull off “Roxan
