Elijah Strazar is the exact opposite of angelic. Mohawked, pierced, tattooed, and too sexy to handle, Macie takes one look at Elijah and decides that he's trouble she needs to stay far away from. I'm having a difficult time reviewing this book because at times I absolutely loved it and other times it was so boring. Its almost as though it was written by 2 different people. I REALLY disliked Macie and her swing moods. The ending was very uneventful and disappointing. I don't enjoy giving negative reviews so I'm not going to even mark the stars.
I give it about 3.5 stars. It was an interesting concept, but just didn't pull through for me.
It starts off with Macie who this good Catholic girl that meets this guy that looks the complete opposite. Elijah is totally hunky with facial piercings and tattoos. They instantly has this connection. Push comes to shove and Elijah admits that he really is a Nephilim and she's supposed to help protect him against the Neo-Grigori.

Holy flippin hottness batman! Elijah is totally swoon worthy! oh man i'm still drooling like crazy good thing i'm reading this on a computer instead of a hard copy. I want there to be a sequel sooo bad.
I really liked the story line and fell in love with Elijah. I was really disappointed in Macie and how she ran hot and cold with her feelings. Overall great teen romance.
I really did love the flow and the characters to this book !!! I really hope you write a second book !!!
Wowzers!! Elijah is HOT!! LOVE how blunt he his regarding his feelings and his persistence is an admirable trait. And although Macie's rapid mood swings drove me batty, i think her reactions were legit for a high school student. Nice quick read with a slight drool-factor!!
