Oh my! This was such a beautiful love story. Cheesy, romantic, sweet not to mention emotional. I am a sucker for unrequited love and it made me sad seeing the heroine's adoration for the hero not being returned. He was quite oblivious and in denial but he was vulnerable and I enjoyed his jealousy and possessiveness. The final chapter was without a doubt the sweetest most romantic chapter I've read! I want my own Malik!

Sheikh Malik was Sorrel’s guardian. She’d come to him as a teenager and over the years, he’d never shirked his responsibility to ensure her well being. Sorrel fit so well into his calm, orderly world that Malik hadn’t realized how much time had passed. Sorrel had grown into a bright and exceptionally beautiful young woman, eager for a taste of adventures in the West! Unfortunately, Malik didn’t agree with her.

My favourite of the three Desert Princes. Malik, although ruthless, is more cold and emotionally distant with a sense of honour.

SPOILER He didn’t discover he was in love until the end of the book and I wondered how Sharon was going to pull that off, but she did so very well END OF SPOILER

I love Sharon’s voice and writing style, there’s a likeable heroine, and intensity in a fantasy setting. She writes some of the best love scenes in the Modern line-up with a high degree of sensuality and sexual

Before: The only reason I am going to read this book is because I received it for free when I bought a women's magazine. Not my type, but decided to read it before getting rid of it.

After: What a waste of time! Superficial. As a result of this book I am not even bothering with reading the other free books I received with magazines.

I was told off as a child for making up stories—little did I know that one day I’d earn my living by writing them!

To the horror of my parents, I left school at sixteen and held a bewildering variety of jobs: I was a London DJ (in the now-trendy Primrose Hill), a decorator and a singer. After that I became a cook, a photographer and, eventually, a nurse. I waitressed in the south of France, drove a
