A good read, but nothing original. Sexy Dom, uncertain sub, good imaginative sex NOT in a playroom or dungeon (I love a little McGyver ingenuity)so, worth my time.

Well for me, this one started off strong and then lost momentum. Originally, I was heartbroken for Vicki. Her husband chose the absolute worst day to walk out on her, and while I understand that the marriage was probably over long before that, it was still a shitty time to spring that on her. I thought that this was fantastic. Very emotionally intense, the author really delved into the mental aspects of the D/s relationship more so that just the physical. I think walking us through Victoria's lowest point in her life really solidified the connection and necessity of the relationship between her and Michael. I just didn't want the book to end the way it did. I wanted more of the relationship once Victoria accepted the D/s part of it. Are we going to see more them?

I thought the main character , Michael, was creepy and my gut instincts kept telling me that the female lead, Victoria, should put in her mission statement: Stay Away From Men Until I Can Make Heathier Choices.
