It's a month of Christmas with lots of Christmas romance! Overall, I gave this book 4 stars and below are reviews for each of four anthologies with ratings, respectively.

This Time Next Year by Alison Kent (5 stars) - It was a story about one with tortured soul and haunted pasts, Dillon, where he met with an ambitious nurse, Breena. Rough weather made them stuck together and they started to learn about each other and eventually, they grew feelings to one another. I loved this story because Dillo More...

This Time Next Year – I really enjoyed this story right from the beginning I was routing for Dillon. He was such a sweet man I really wanted him to find love and happiness. The Grandma side story was wonderful too. It really touched memories of my own Grandma and that pulled me in on such a personal level that it was even more important that they get together. The story was believable with just enough magic. The characters were likable and human. More...

Overall Rating 4.25
This Time Next Year: 4.25
A Rare Gift: 4.00
It's Not Christmas Without You: 4.25
Mistletoe and Margaritas: 4.50

NOTE: Anthologies usually leave me lacking and thinking there is more to the story. Evidently, I don't have that problem with Christmas Anthologies. I must buy the whole magic of Christmas thing LOL

This Time Next Year: Probably the most heart-warming of the anthology. This story had me rooting for the romance and really loving that moment on the porc More...

Holiday Kisses is one of the best holiday romances that I have read this season. It is rare indeed that I find an anthology where every story appeals to me. I usually end up not liking at least one story, but this one wasn't like that at all. I would be sitting there reading with a huge smile on my face or laughing out loud and every around me would want to know what was making me so happy (sappy, my husband says). I would quickly let them know going on and on about whichever story in the antho More...

Keep Your Eye On That Frost Guy...He Nips
Four holiday romance novellas make up this seasonal delight, and they did a nice job of keeping me toasty on a couple of cold winter nights. Metaphorically, anyway, as southern Florida isn't exactly known for its brisk evening temperatures, even in winter.

This anthology didn't have the shared concept that united the three novellas in the previous anthology I read, but I'm perfectly happy without that. This one was a more consistent and entertaining read, More...

Dillion is on his horse making the rounds when he finds her car and drags her out by a window and brings her back to his place and dresses her ankle and puts her to bed under quilts.

Last year around Christmas time I picked up Naughty and Nice, a collection of novellas, because I am a huge fan of Shannon Stacey's novels. I hadn't at that time read anything by the other authors. So I was really excited when Holiday Kisses came out this year, particularly because Jaci Burton's story is a continuation of sorts from her story in Naughty and Nice.

"This Time Next Year" was an enjoyable story. I've now got a couple of titles on my Kindle by this author and I'm looking forward to r More...

This was a cute collection of holiday stories. I have only read 2 of the authors before (Burton and Dimon), but will be checking out more from the other 2 authors.

I wasn't too sure about Allison Kent's story when I first started reading it. But slowly I was won over by it, I have a soft spot for broken heroes. Dillon seemed ok at first glance, but the more you get to know him you realize he hides things very well. I loved how he was working out his issues and thought it was a great way to rememb More...

There's not a tremendous amount of 'Ho,Ho,Ho' to go with the mistletoe, but all of these not-too-short-shorts are set around the holidays if, like me, this time of year puts you in the mood for some 'Holiday Kisses'. All four of these Christmas shorts are also available separately.

I'll admit that I've only read a few anthology's before, not really being a huge fan since I tend to need more back-story to connect with the characters. So even though I did find pretty much ever short story a bit rushed, it was also pretty romantic and that was exactly what I was hoping for.

Holiday Kissses from Carina Press is another book in their terrific Christmas anthologies. I say terrific because the formula they use isterrific. They publish the four stories together under one theme, and people have the choice to purchase all four together, or, they're available separately. This is a terrific solution to the "your mileage may vary" problem usually found in anthologies.

There's the obvious theme in this collection. Okay, there are two obvious themes. It's a romance anthology. A More...

One of the things I most enjoy about anthologies is discovering new authors that I might not have heard of or read before. I was already familiar with both Shannon Stacey and Jaci Burton, and thoroughly enjoyed their stories, and it was also nice to find a couple of new authors that I may eventually look further into.

Of the four stories, I have to say that my favorite was probably A Rare Gift by Jaci Burton. It was part of a series that I previously discovered through another holiday anthology, More...

The anthology includes:
This time next year- To be fair this story was good. This one deserves four stars. A beautiful coming back home story and even though it was a short story (less than three hours) the romance was very believeable. Plus it has one of the best narrators ever: Therese Plummer.

This was one fabulous collection of Christmas-themed short stories, provided by netgalley. Shannon Stacey was the only author I'd previously read, but I'm pretty sure I'll be checking all the others after reading these.

It isn’t often that I enjoy all of the stories in an anthology, but Holiday Kisses delivers. The novel contains four contemporary romances surrounding the holiday season. This is the first time I have ever given a 5 coffee cup review to a collection of works. Each story could stand on its own, and I would gladly read the full length version.

Holiday Kisses is my last holiday book. It's an anthology that includes four romantic stories that will warm your heart.

This Time Next Year is a story about Dillon, who is tormented by his past at war, and Breena, a nurse who is going to visit her grandmother for her last Christmas before following her dream. By a snow storm they were stranded at Dillon's cabin, and Breena discovers Dillon need someone who listen to him and love him. This story is very sweet, and I really l More...

Okay, this simultaneously suffers from way too fucking fast syndrome and gets points for not having the heroine ditch her life long dream of going overseas to practice nursing for a dude she just met. It was very confusing.

I really, really enjoyed this book! This Time Next Year is a short story, yet packed with so much. The time these 2 characters spent with each other never felt rushed or like, we as the readers, were shortchanged.

This Time Next Year by Alison Kent - 2/5 stars

This story was way too short and generally moved way too fast. I never got into it.

A Rare Gift by Jaci Burton - 2/5 stars

Not a trope I am ever going to like. Also, I was having a names problem with this one. It was fast, but AT LEAST not as unbelievably fast as the first one. I don't know. I was more interested in Brody and Tori, I think. I THINK.

Shannon Stacey- Mistletoe & Margaritas

It’s common knowledge that with novellas most people feel like there is a shortage character growth & that the story moved to fast and they often feel rushed. I definitely felt that with Mistletoes & Margaritas. I’m not saying it was bad, I just felt that this could have been a 5+ star with all the she-bang, if it were a full length novel.
