The "clues" or weight-loss tips are good, but I quit reading after the first chapter or so because the same three tips seem to be repeated over and over again.

Ok, so this book is very repetitive. It repeats the facts about five times or more, I didn't count. It was repeating everything about five times... yes, just in the same fashion as I have done just here. A fact is picked and then presented over and over again. And then for good measure in a later chapter again and again.
It's clear very fast, that the author want the attempting dieter to eat 35 grams minimum fibre per day, eat 35 grams of fat maximum per day and exercise 35 minutes a day plus a s

I have read a lot of fitness and diet books - some are way too technical for the average person and some just tell you what you want to hear (and often doesnt work).

This book present clear facts in a way that anyone can understand. It is not a fad diet but a simple plan to a healthier lifestyle presented in a way to make you understand why and not so you just follow along blindly.

Don't let the title or the cover fool you this is not a novel. It is a weight lost book.
It has some interesting blurbs but it mostly just repeats its self. Also like most self help books it contradicts its self in one sentence it will say that something is good for you and in another sentence it will say that it is bad for you.
Come on makeup your mind is it good for you or is it bad for you.
