Very good analysis of what is the matter with teaching today. I really found the reflection on a study about the future of public schooling important. The study came up with 6 possible scenarios on the future of schooling and only two involved a workable public system. I appreciated this information and the book because it got me to turn around an assumption in my head that public schooling is inevitable...perhaps it is not sustainable, but then what?
