I got the opportunity to read this novella by Andrea. Its a cute story. As I'm a total romantic, it was perfect for me!

First the synopsis:
When Samara Oldroyd meets the most amazing guy ever, she's frustrated their conversation is cut short. Her wishes that they'll run into each other again come true when she meets her sister's new boyfriend. It's him! Eeek!
Inspired by the film Dan in Real Life, this novella will tickle you pink as Samara tries—in vain—to undo her crush.

I enjoyed this story. It w...more

This loveable story was a joy to read. It took me back to when I was sixteen and experiencing crushes and what I believed was love. Samara is not any different when it comes to this difficult teenage phase. She meets Matt and they have an instant connection and quite a bit in common. After spilling the news of her newfound heartthrob to her older sister, she makes the shocking discovery that who she is crazy about is her sister’s new boyfriend, who is also captain of the football team at her sch...more

I loved it! I was sad that it was so short, but since I read this after Ember Gods, I knew how it was going to turn out. It would be fun to have companion books to the Kilenya books from others point of view. How does Sammy handle Matt just off and disappearing all of the time? This would definitely be good to read before Ember Gods. But, even if you've already read them, it's still great! I like that Samara figures out how to handle her crush until she can do something about it. That Molly was...more

Short read, funny and light! I couldn't stop laughing with Sam's internal dialogue and witty comments of her family especially with her older sister Molly whose boyfriend is Matt. Matt was just a dream! Captain of the football team in High School, funny, kind and a talented guitarist and vocalist and a hero! What more can you ask?

I wasn't sure how the story would end, as Matt was with Molly and Sam just couldn't help but fall in love with him but I was pleasantly suprise of how the story wrappe...more

It was a fun book and quick to read. The characters were easy to like, but slightly predictable. The setting was fun and I wished I could be there with her to enjoy the vacation. I was expecting it to have magic or other world dimensions because of the "Kilenya" in the title. I kept waiting for something magical to happen so I wonder if my opinion of the story was skewed that way. I also knew what would happen in the end, though I enjoyed being proven right, I still longed for a bit of surprise....more

I love a good YA Romance, and I was glad to see another side of Matt (Jacob's brother from The Kilenya Series).

Good, clean story. Easy read for teens. Likable characters, very predictable ending.

I might have gone for the 5 stars, but it was too short! ;)

Very fun and quick read. Perfect for a break from life and a little girlie romance. And, I love the cover! :)

I was so happy to find out I could download a free Kindle reader for my PC (since I don't have a kindle), so I was able to get and read this. Hooray!

This is a fun little book. I like the movie Dan in real life so it was fun to read a similar story. I thought there was a little too much teenage drama but it's still a great story!
