Set in a sprawling Victorian manor, aclassic ghost story with a stunning twist

I look up at the dark, unblinking eyes of the house and I get the weirdest feeling . . . It's the feeling of being pulled into something and being unable to stop it happening . . .

Tabitha is used to changing schools and moving to different houses. But when her family moves into Weston Manor, some...more

Teenage girl moves into a Stately Home with her parents and little brother. Creepy things happen. Father - curator of the museum that the SH is - will not hear anything Our Heroine tries to tell him. But Security Guard Sid Knows Something...

Yeah, actually, even that synopsis doesn't sound very interesting. Possibly because this book is not very interesting.

Yes, there is Stately Home, and ghosts, and Our Heroine seeing things that no-one else seems to, and no-one listening to her when she tries t...more

One word comes to mind when I think of The Haunting Of Tabitha Grey…creepy! If you are looking for a book that will make you jump at sounds in the middle of the night, this is it.

Vanessa Curtis does a fantastic job of allowing the reader to see the world in the eyes of Tabitha Grey, a young girl who seems to have the gift of seeing the ghosts of the dead. Not only does she have the stress of that, but she also bears witness to the downward spiral of her parent’s marriage, with a mother who suffe...more

Yay: Ghosts! Creepy old houses with vaguely unhappy pasts. Suspense and thrills and chills. "Am I insane or is everyone else?" Hints of stuff that's not-quite-right adding up to an unexpected ending.

Nay: Nobody but Tabitha really has a personality. She's got a boyfriend and a best friend but they're useless and boring.

Verdict: Despite the lackluster support cast, the story is spooky and interesting and kept me reading all the way through 'til the end. I didn't expect the ending, though neither...more

Tabitha Grey and her family are moving into Weston Manor house, where her dad is to be Keeper. Tabs should be thrilled - after all, the house is gorgeous and a real piece of history. Only she has this feeling, like something's wrong with the house. Like something's waiting for her.
Tabitha's creative, but she isn't imagining the chills, the people no one else can see, the sounds only she can hear.
But no one will believe her. Even though she's sure she's right this time. Can she convin...more

ok so if I have to be honest, I gave up on this book because I was bored.

To be quite hones, I like reading horror books but this wasn't scary. Unlike The Woman in Black, this did not send shivers up my spine or cause me to feel scared. This is not what a horror book should be like.

This book was so boring, I cant be bothered to carry on with this review...

This book was so awsome I had read it a few months back when my boyfriend had seen it and said I might like it if I read It I was not expecting that it was such a great book and the end was so shocking that my jaw actuly droped when I was reading it. I found that some off the charactors where boaring and that the dad was arigent

Brilliant. Worth wading through the teen prose for the inspired twist that not even the most jaded ghost hunted could forsee.

Why is this book so sad? *sniff*
The ghost portion is really good and the twist is very... i dunno I can't say predictable but if you jump to conclusions in the middle of it, you might get it but be like, pshaw, that can't be it!
