As much as I love and admire Christopher Fowler's work,I have to say that I was quite disappointed with the quality of the stories in this anthology. I don't think that they are indicative of his prowess as a gifted writer and storyteller. There are a few that stand out,but are still below par,sorry to say, but I have to be honest. It is hard to be critical of someone whose work I always look forward to reading,but perhaps we have been somewhat spoilt! It WON'T deter me from reading his future w...more
