This book relates many recipes derived from the history of the Ortega Chile Packing Company of Los Angeles. I mainly studied this book for "authentic" Mexican food recipes. I really liked the ones for fajitas, chimichangas, and burritos!

A special treat here are the chapters on holiday feasts--Fiesta Navidena and Cinco de Mayo Fiesta.

Great recipes with many historical, colorful photos!
