Yep, continuing my binge read of Peter David's X-Factor run, and while I am enjoying Jamie Madrox, Layla, and company, the size of the TPBs remind me of the one of the differences between Marvel and DC TPBs. DC puts more of the single issues in per trade, and still make it work. As David doesn't exactly write for trade either perhaps these will read better in the upcoming hardcover omnibuses.

In previous books I distinctly felt that the writing transcended what always seemed to be awkward and less-than-brilliant art.

In this one,
not so much.

Not as funny,
or interesting as other books in this series.

Another terrific volume of X-Factor, with several great character studies and a main plot that allows for both twists and surprises. I’ve very eager to see what’s up next.

I have read much X-Factor not since the early days and I mean early days. Not bad, would like to read more, but not going out of the way to buy them. Thank you, Library.
Eh. This arc cleans up a few loose ends and sets up a few other things, but it has too much trouble standing on its own as a story.
