This book is amazing. It was exactly what I needed after my diabetes diagnosis.

If you have received that diagnosis you know exactly how I felt. I felt angry that it wasn't fair. I felt terrified about what diabetes could do to my life. I felt guilty that I had somehow done this to myself.

The format of this book is perfect. For the first 30 days, you learn one thing per day. You just have to read a few pages each day. For those first 30 days that was perfect. I wasn't ready to tackle carb countin

There's a wealth of information in this little book. With her quirky sense of humor and talent for taking a sometimes daunting amount of information for the newly diagnosed and breaking it down into smaller, more palatable doses, Garnero creates a useful and perhaps life-saving read.
Very informative for the recently diagnosed. This will be a book that I refer to often.
