1)Primary Non-Fiction, Independent Reading

2)Cooper listed Derek Jeter and baseball several times on his Interest Inventory. After looking at the books I could find available on Derek Jeter after 2010, this one seemed the most “kid-friendly”. Color pictures and not an overload of information. This will be an easier read, but will hopefully spark some interest in the non-fiction biography genre and I could measure the interest from there to see if he’d want something more difficult or maybe explor
