Cherished is a Duology with stories by Maya Banks and Lauren Dane. Banks' story, which I enjoyed more, is a standalone entitled "Exiled" and is about a prince who brings a girl that he's loved from afar to his island so that he and his 3 right-hand men can bring her pleasure in hopes that she'll want to stay. I don't usually enjoy menage storylines, but the way it was written made it work here. It was extremely steamy and was a great fantasy erotica storyline.

All I can say is I have a new category for my books: Can't Stop Reading!. Having read Delicious #2 and #3 (which I mistakenly thought were 1 and 2), I was curious about the pairing of Levi and the indominatble Daisy and the relationship casually referenced in Tart and Lush. Two stories, two authors, and one book. When I first picked this book, I overlooked the fact that there were two very different stories told by two very different authors. I am a Maya Banks fan and I loved her story Exiled. Yes as others commented, it is fantasy. That is okay with me. I get enough reality in life. Sometimes I just want fantasy in my reading. I think you need to be in the mood for a certain type of book, and when I picked up "Exiled" I was in the mood to read some hot erotica. If you've read some of Maya Banks' other erotica books that deal with dom/sub relationships, then I don't think that you'll find this story so off-putting. And perhaps that's what it was for me. There are just some authors that I have to stay away from. It's not them, it's me. Or at least how I react to their stories. This is true about Maya Banks. For some masochistic reason, I keep reading her stories and keep wanting to poke my eye out with a rusty spoon. EVERY. TIME. This has happened for years, but I keep reading. This book contains two novellas and is often the case with an anthology, I only liked one of these tales. First, let me say I'm a huge Maya Banks fan. She's an awesome writer, but I gotta say that those many partnered relationships are wearing thin with me. With this first story, Exiled by Maya Banks, I could not even finish this story.
