Captivating!
I really enjoyed this book! It was a light-hearted, entertaining, fun romp from start to finish! The dialogue was witty and the characters enchanting and the author made you want to take each of them and give them a little nudge to do the right thing at times! I love it when I find a story that draws me in so much I am talking out loud giving the characters encouragement and sometimes even advise! LOL! This story had comedy, romance and even a little touch of mystery. It was such a f

A delightful historical read, beautifully written with living characters and an enchanting fairy-tale-like quality.
Sarra is used to living by her wits - as the mistress of a castle and estate she is a perilous position with her lands in the gift of the English King. She has grown used to repelling suitors (who would marry her for her land) by cunning and deception, but when the disenfranchised Scottish noble Cedric, comes along not only do her plans backfire but she also risks losing the love o

There Your Heart Will Be Also by Felicia Rogers

The King has sent him to take over control of the castle and to wed the mistress. He wanders around in town and learns about it and
the people living in it, working in it. He's fallen for a maid and he knows it's not right as he has to wed the mistress in order to
get the land.

He is a Scot and he's intrigued with the Lists and watches how the English fight with their swords and attempts to show them how he fights with his kilt on. He senses somethin

An enjoyable story of true love, loyalty, and the repercussions of greed and vengeance. Rogers creates a historically accurate and intriguing English landscape, complete with that endearingly roguish touch of Scotland and its cultural colors.

One of my favorite parts about this book was the cast of characters; each person was not simply thrown in for convenience. The personality of each was crafted individually, given his or her own tongue, and set loose to interact with the others in a way that

This was a great book! I loved being pulled into the story of love, land and pride. Sarra was a strong character with enough realism to make her very easy to relate to. She seemed a bit old for the time period, but that's alright. Cedric was a wonderful character - mixing goals and desires as he falls in love with the "wrong" woman. The side characters made for a full story and brings you into the world the characters are living in. I especially liked Duncan's character. The action was good and ...more

There Your Heart Will Be Also is a sweet story of faith and love. From the moment you start reading you are caught up in the lives of two people in the mid 16th century. Your heart goes out to Cedric who is trying to overcome his past and prove himself and to Sarra who is strong during a time when women were considered lesser creatures incapable of taking care of lands or running keeps alone. Despite lies and deceptions these two fall in love and Cedric is introduced to a faith and a God that ca ...more

There Your Heart Will Be Also by Felicia Rogers was an excellent book. The two main characters Sarra and Cedric were very interesting. Both of them had you totally interested in what they were doing...and you wanted to keep reading the book to find out what will eventually happen to them.

I found Felicia's writing to be very good. The descriptions of The Keep, the surroundings..made you almost see it in your mind. You could almost picture yourself there.

I would totally recommend this book.....es

This was a sweet story and Sarra was a heroine that you can relate to. It does not matter in what time you live in, you want to know that the person you plan to spend your life with loves you for you.

I picked up this book because I had read Labor of Love, I wanted to see where the series began. This story was more than I expected it to be. It showed a young woman who not only guards her heart but protects the people who depend on her in a world when men are supposed to be the ones taking care of

Loved, Loved, Loved this book! Great Historical Fiction. I also loved the spiritual thread. Eventually the truth will always come out. This is the first book in a series and I cannot wait to read the other books in this great series.
