I really like this series, I like the idea of the different types of shifters mating, and since it is a series, you get a glimpse of each character then it gets expanded in "their" book.
From what I've read, sometimes fans would prefer Amber's books to be longer, and I'll admit there are some that I like the characters so much I'd have no problem reading more about them, but at the same time, sometimes it's nice to have a short read where you can connect with the characters and have an adventure...more

So-so m/m paranormal romance about a coyote shifter trying to find his missing, possibly psychotic sister. This read almost like a story outline, plus it had some continuity issues; for example, the sister's son is fine at the beginning of the story, or is he missing, as at the end of the story (with nothing between the two points about him vanishing)?

I agree with some of the other reviews, the series is great and the plot line lends itself to longer books. I just wish Amber Kell would develop these small novellas it to more meaty books, as I devour them much to quickly and I feel I have been cheated out of some story line.

Those fast developed short novellas are starting to get pain in the ass for the readers. This story was like many others, boring, without true developed feelings, and good pulling plot.

Don't know if these are getting worse or I have lost my patience with them.

It just feels like the author put no effort into this one.

Not as good as the previews books for this series, although still enjoyable.

This is book 4 in the Supernatural Mates series by Amber Kell. I really enjoyed reading KC's story. I liked the break from the Lions too. KC is a fox and his partner is a coyote so it is quite an enjoyable change. I am looking forward to diving into the next book.

Easy and enjoyable reading..:)

I agree with the others who have left reviews...wish it was longer so the story could flow a bit more naturally. Still a fun read, but not my favorite in the series.
Clover

Amber Kell is one of those quiet people they always tell you to watch out for. She lives in Dallas with her husband, two sons, and one extremely stupid dog.

She also writes under the name Mikela Q. Chase
