Bubbles Hunty Honest & Direct Opinions
I was mostly enjoying this but Stirling was such an asshole for the last half. Plus the editing wasn’t the best words used incorrectly or the wrong word used or words just left out. I was going to give two stars for the beginning but then the end (or lack of an end) being so bad I can’t give more than 1 star. There was a lot of sex for a short story. Some seemed a little dubious in consent but not enough for me to tag it that

This is a great werewolf book, where the ‘wolfiness’ is as important as the human side of the main characters. It is also a story about finding your way back home and admitting you belong there.

Tanner has exiled himself because he can’t shift, trying to make a life among humans. But when he suddenly does shift, uncontrollably, he needs help. Instinctively he returns to the area he grew up in and finds help – which it takes him a while to learn to accept. Not being used to an Alpha and the whole

Tanner was never able to shift and was bullied by his pack including Stirling. Tanner moved away to the city and made a life for himself, but when he suddenly changes, he freaks out and manages to find his way back home where he is rescued by Stirling. Stirling soon realizes who Tanner is, but Tanner is unable to change back or when he does, control the shift. Stirling tries to help him and Stirling also realizes that Tanner is his mate and th
Stirling may be the alpha for his pack but he is an ass for his mate:

I adore this story! Short, but sweet and sexy hot, it gives enough history not only of the pack, but the characters to make them stand out, let you know them. The sex is fantastic (and I rarely say that), the guys are ones you want to know, and the shifters are shifters handling an uncommon problem that brings them together.

Pinyon is a good short story. I really enjoyed the premise of what would happen if a grown man suddenly morphed into his wolf form and couldn’t control the shift.
