This is an exceptional collection of works from Polynesian writers, artists, photographers, etc. I really enjoyed being able to sample the work of several individuals, which has introduced me to a few authors whose novels I will now pursue.

Overall just a beautiful book to own and flip through even after reading.

An excellent collection of writing from French Polynesia. This is one of the few translated works from that region. Contains the phenomenal paintings of Bobby Holcombe and shows a wide range of work including poetry, short story and essay. This isn't Gauguin this is the real thing.
