Cari Quinn delivers when hellava hot menage read that steams up the room and melts your heart in this friends to lovers troupe story. While the sex and intimacies are nothing short of super hot (Seriously. Hot.), they are also filled with the emotions that come with a connection between three people that are meant to be with one another. For readers who love to indulge in m/m scenes, you get them, and wow are they fabulous! And for readers who often shy away from them (like myself) I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy them too. I did. I found the connection between these two strong males was fabulously established by the author, which made their scenes that much hotter.

Each of the main characters are strong, contributing to the story in their own purposeful way. They're successful, and seem confident in all ways people would perceive them to be, but at each of the characters' core is a doubt about themselves, a vulnerability that they want no one to see but for the two others they know would protect their deepest weaknesses and insecurities. Their interactions with one another were so life-like that I could actually see a triad like theirs taking place in real life.

And speaking of real life, Cari Quinn does not shy away from establishing the main conflict of prejudice towards same sex relationships and the impacts that it may carry when coming out to family. This is a powerhouse of a story. You simply get it all: Fabulous sex scenes, fantastic characters, strong storyline, funny moments, passion and love, and societal conflicts.

If you're looking for something other than the fireplace to warm you up on your Christmas vacation, I highly recommend Unwrapped.(less)

When Cait walks in on them, all their secrets desires come spilling out. Can she accept that what they want from her, what she wants from them, doesn't make her a "slut"? Can they all accept that by accepting their true natures they might not be acceptable to everyone else?

This is a festive read, with most of the main action happening over the Christmas period. I have always said that I like a ménage more when everyone is happy with the situation. This doesn't necessarily mean that everyone has to be sexually attracted to each other; it just means I can't abide ménage where one of the men is constantly aware of where their penis is in relation to the others penis. I want a happy threesome and these three don't have a problem with the sexual side of their relationship, they just have a problem of the logistics of "forever". The character with the most hang-ups, and the most annoying character for me, was Caitlyn. Caitlyn is not a very nice character. Judgmental of the choices that her family have made for themselves, she goes out of her way to "not be like them". She mainly has a problem with the fact that her mother had a lot of boyfriends and that her younger sister has four children. She lets this judgment cloud all of her actions hence she ends up a 24 year old virgin. She just wanted rid of it (which I didn't mind) but was willing to use her best friends to do the deed. She wasn't actually thinking of them at all when she made this decision, she was going to let them basically toss a coin for her and then act as if it never happened the day after. She kept up this kind of attitude throughout the majority of their interlude and I hated every second of it. Her deep seated fear of being seen as a slut hurt both men deeply during the course of this book as she was happy to use and abuse two men who loved her for her own personal gain.

The boys were lovely. Matt was the more easy going, rambunctious, act-now-ask-questions-later type of guy. He was also very proud of his oral skills Under the surface veneer of confidence and charm was a very insecure man. He feared that he was a stop gap for Tristan and that he was second choice for Cait. At one point he wonders if they would be better without him...I was definitely team Matt this book. Tristan was the more intense one out of the two but I don't think that the book would have worked without him. He wasn't as easy to like but his feelings for the two of them were undeniable. His love of Dominance also made me VERY happy he was in the book. He wasn't willing to let her go easily and made it incredibly difficult for her to leave, constantly reminding her of what they could have if she would stop caring what others thought. Both of the men were desperately unhappy with her demands but took on the challenge of trying to change her mind. I wanted to slap her a little; if she loved them like she claimed, she would have steadfastly refused sex with them, knowing that she would ultimately cause them great amounts of pain. She redeemed herself slightly towards the end, but she still upset me with her actions. As a ménage, they worked very well but as individuals, she was too selfish for such lovely men.

The sex scenes were ridiculously hot. The fact that no one had any limits in the bedroom just made it absolutely scorching to read. There was M/M sex between two very manly men, M/F/M ménage, M/M/F ménage, Voyeurism, spanking, bondage, home-made porn.....the list was endless! I can honestly say that this book spiked my libido like no other has in a while.....sweaty palms and a raised heart rate were the least of my worries :) I love Cari Quinn's erotic scenes....she is one of my "go-to" authors when I need a steamy fix :)

Overall this one was a fabulously smutty read that kept me entertained throughout. With a variety of different sexual techniques and themes, I honestly think there would be something in here to tempt anyone with a pulse. A definite re-read :)

I must admit, menage stories really need to draw me in to be successful. Add in my first m/m/f romance and I was a little nervous on the read. Thanks to Mz. Quinn I think I'll even try a few others. She really captured the passion of a relationship that pushes preconceived boundaries and the aftermath of a relationship that will change your life forever.

This book was so good. I loved the premise of the story. This romance features three friends (yes, it's a friends to lovers trope...you all know that I LOVE those.) These friends live together in the loft above their design business that they all own and work at together.

This book was so good. I loved the premise of the story. This romance features three friends (yes, it's a friends to lovers trope...you all know that I LOVE those.) These friends live together in the loft above their design business that they all own and work at together.

The heroine in the story is twenty-five and a virgin. She's not inexperienced. She just hasn't done that final step involved with losing her virginity. She has a mother and two sisters that are pretty sexually promiscuous, so Cait has done everything in her power NOT to be like them. She doesn't approve with the choices that they have made and wants to make sure that she doesn't make the same "mistakes", but that means that she is a 25 yo virgin, and even she knows that isn't normal. She trusts her roommates enough to help take care of her little problem. She just doesn't know how to choose which one should do the deed. When she arrives home to discuss it with them, though, she is horrified and more than a little turned on to realize that her male roommates have been doing the deed together, without her.

I really liked the way that this story is done. It seems like a long stretch to go from virgin to menage in one step, but Cari wrote it really well and believably...and it isn't quite a single step. The emotions are here for all three of these characters. They have been friends for a long time so it isn't much of a stretch to move that to love, but it just as easily shifts to hurt when one of them feels left out...which happens quite a bit. They are dealing with lots here....Cait's perceptions of sexual promiscuity, the boys issues with the fact that they are sexually active together (neither has come out as bi-sexual), the social stigma of a triad relationship, and the issue of trying to run a business when dealing with the emotional issues of a relationship in upheaval.

I really loved all the characters, but I fell in love with Matt. I loved how he came up with a fantasy plan and how it all blew up in his face...his reaction to that situation simply made my heart melt. He handles both Cait and Tristan so well. He thinks that Cait's the glue that holds them all together, but I think that is truly Matt.

And, of course, you know this book is going to be hot...it's one of Cari's books. ;o) And it is....SO HOT!! Lots of amazing sex scenes in this one to keep you warm through the holiday season....I loved it when they went up to the secluded cabin in the snowy woods...so romantic and fabulous for a tryst...or a few of them...LOL! Did I mention there is a LOT of really sexy sex in this one?

I love this book! The interaction between the characters, the realness of it dealing with developing relationships and everybody's baggage, the sex... Dear gawd, the sex! It was hot, like panties-on-fire hot. They didn't do anything I haven't read in other ménage books, but Ms. Quinn is very good with her words.

I liked this book, for the most part. It was SUPER hot, for sure. The characters had great chemistry in and out of bed, which made it a pretty fun read. It was also pretty realistic with Caitlin, Matt, and Tristan trying to deal with how ~~the world~~ their families will react to their love.

This is the third book I've read by Cari Quinn and I am proud to say that I am addicted to her and her writing. She has amazing characters, sex scenes that are off the chart, and plots that keep you reading till the end and make you beg for more. All I can say about this one is break out the Christmas Tree and turn on the Chipmunks CD for this wonderful Christmas treat.

One thing I admire about Cari Quinn is that she isn't afraid to take chances with her books. This one is different then most eroticas I've read. One of things I admired about was how realistic the story line was. While there was lots of hot sex and a little bit for everyone's taste, what I liked most was how Caitlin, Matt and Tristan had a hard time dealing with the fact that they wanted a relationship with each other.

The three knew that they wanted to have something together, but were afraid of what their families and friends would think. This is what made the book for me. I liked watching the three of them come to terms with how to deal with the best way to let those in their life know that they were together and not hide the fact that they were in a relationship together.

The only thing that gave me trouble with this book was Caitlin. I loved Matt and Tristan, then men in the book, but I never really connected with Caitlin. I think the problem I had with her was that she kept changing her mind on what she wanted. In the beginning of the book she really wanted to lose her virginity with both Matt and Tristan, but once they wanted more she got scared and changed her mind for a bit. I had a hard time feeling sorry for her angst like I should have. Once she made her decision to be in the relationship I liked her a bit more, but when she gave the other two a hard time about being undecided it annoyed me. However, Matt and Tristan more then made up for Caitlin and are what kept me reading. I liked how honest they were with each other and Caitlin. They made me laugh with their nicknames for Caitlin-Caity Bait was my favorite.

Unwrapped is a quick read and if you are looking for something outside the box then I really recommend this one.

Love doesn't begin to describe how I feel about this book, and I couldn't put it down. Given that this is a m/m/f, loving it was pretty much a given in for me but this book had the perfect combo of steam, emotion, plot, and great writing. I've enjoyed other books by Cari Quinn so the purchase of this title was a no brainier to me. I've also enjoyed lots of books from Loose ID. In the end though this book was ... okay.

I have to say that this is an awesome book!

Most menage stories kind of gloss over the effects of being in a committed relationship, they just live happily ever after...well they do here too. The whole logistics of how it effects not only the people involved but what will their families and community think too plays out in the story. I didn't read all the blurb when I purchased this from Amazon, I just read that Cit wanted to lose her virginity to one of her flatmates, so imagine my suprise when I get to the man on man prt of the book, damn near dropped my Kindle and thought what the fuck, then went back and read the whole blurb on Amazon..lol..This book had shitloads of sex!!
Unwrapped was tastefully done and an amazing read. I loved it. The characters pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me engaged throughout..

Silly me, I thought this was a feel-good holiday romance, all snow and presents and holiday cheer.

I wasn't wrong about the feel-good because it was FEEL GOOD - YUM!

I'm generally not into M/M/F menage but this was just the right balance of personal interaction, smexy times and growth between Cait, Tristan and Matt.

The fact that these three are best friends made me believe the romance that grew between them.
