AJ Harris knew he needed to depart very soon but needed to sell his inherited grandmother’s property before he could leave town, before his past snuck up on him. In order to sell, he’s hired READY, SET, SOLD to come in to stage, and update the old family homestead. The child he secretly adopted when Samantha Elliott gave him away with nary a backward gl ...more

Very good book, classic example of couple torn apart by interfering parent. I loved Sam -- not only had she given up her baby to give him a better life, she was taking care of her ill mother, too. I also enjoyed seeing her work at the non-traditional job of carpenter -- you don't see too many of those. There's more to the tale than that but it certainly does show that the saying there's his side of the story, there's her side ...more

Cute cute cute. Loved the little boy. I'm usually not a big fan of birth parents being reunited with the child they gave up but this book made me rethink that. Just such a touching read. Loved it.

A book that kept me up reading past my bedtime, although contemporary romances aren't ususally my thing.

The entire conflict for the story hinged on big misunderstandings that could have cleared up in a five-minute conversation. I have a low tolerance for these kinds of books.
