Ms. Greenwood takes us on a journey with the elements of earth. As we find out these adults who as children were exposed to something that changed their molecular structure giving them powers or whatever you want to call them.

I didn’t read book one so I am not real sure on how they came to be and it was touched on briefly in book two. I found this story rather enchanting and charming in a fairy tale sort of way.

I think what I love the most about this elemental series is that it shows that, despite a paranormal element in the main character's life, that people are people. They have the same struggles, fears, hopes and loves as all the rest of us. The big strength of this book is in the characters. No insta-love here! I adore the love/hate relationship between Trent and Morgan, and the slow burn. I was really pulled in to the transformation and growth of the characters as the story went on. It's hard to ...more
