Shelves: horror, ill, vampires
The pacing was off. The beginning is very promising but then the plot languishes.

My biggest gripe - The constant locker room banter between the cops was not particularly funny and detracted from the plot. There were several characters who could have been more fully fleshed out. Instead, I spent a third of the book reading about office crushes and dick jokes.

Very disappointed.

The first half i was on the fence, i liked the first book more, but the last half really ramped up... another excellent ensemble cast, the location is the main character, story from Moore.
