Fawn is about to embark on her first mission as a Shapeling Master. She has been sent by the thirteen co-Princes to protect and assist a troubled young girl. What she finds at the Dream Catcher Ranch is so much more than she planned for.
I absolutely love this book. Having not read the first book in the series I was somewhat concerned that I would be lost but Vera Clay did a fantastic job of integrating information from book one into book two so I was not at all confused. The story flows well and...more

Sorry but this wasn't a real romance. The plot was the focus, not the relationship between h/h. It was a good sci-fi read but don't expect any emotional/sexual romantic development.

This is my own review. I've always wanted to write a cowboy romance; I just never envisioned a paranormal one with a shifter.

Excellent sci-fi fantasy with some romance thrown in. Verna Clay did a fantastic job of continuing the story of the Shapeling Protectors in this sequel about Fawn.

Fawn has no desire to fall for a human but then her assignment takes her to a ranch ran by a man named Wade. While working with Wade’s child, Fawn discovers a mystery and an unexpected romance.

The entire story left me hankering for more. I can’t wait to read the third book, Davide.

I love the written word! As a preteen, I devoured Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys' Mysteries. When I reached my teen years, I discovered romance novels and they became my favorite genre. A few years ago, I decided to try my hand at writing and I've been doing so with a passion ever since. My latest endeavors have been writing Western Romance. Dream Kisses, a contemporary western, started out being a sin...more
