The year is 2032. It's a future where the boundaries that separate species are blurred, where genetic manipulation produces whatever organisms people want. For 15-year-old Carly Sands, this world is nothing out of the ordinary - it's the only world she knows.

Then one day, Carly meets the mysterious Ace and, slowly, the true horror of this world is revealed.
