I adored this book. I want a copy of my own. It has so many rhymes that will occupy children's time! These rhymes teach our children rhyming words-which is very important. I could think of a million different ways to use this book in my classroom and believe it is a great investment to have. Kids love singing songs and playing games!

I really liked Melissa Sweet's bright water color pictures. I felt that the motif of the rhymes in the jump rope were to busy as well as the illustrations on the pages, giving the book a claustrophobic feeling. I really liked the facial expressions of the characters in the illustrations. Over all the selection by Judy Sierra's rhymes was okay.
