Sempe: Nothing is Simple (Sempe)
These inimitable drawings and watercolors, accompanied by perfectly judged deadpan captions, are fresh, engaging, and funny. The illustrator's world is populated by nosy neighbors, mischievous schoolboys, thwarted lovers, and frustrated commuters.

I love this series of books, the little details in the illustrations are so endearing. The wonderful little anecdotes, such a joy to read and never fails to make me smile.
I become more French every time i read this book. Sempé holds this childhood charm, I expect to find a copy of this book at every flea market I go to.
J'adore ces dessins. J'étais vraiment bouleversé avec chaque page.
I adore Jean-Jacques Sempé's drawings. They are charming, whimsical, delightful - I could go on all day.
