Grace is a doctor with the IRC and she has been since med-school, travelling to all the hot-spots in the world. She works to the point of exhaustion and some people even call her reckless and she has a guardian angel who she sometimes thinks is a dream, he's been there for her, guiding her out of trouble, keeping to the shadows, using different accents. I won't lie. At first I was reluctant to read this book. I didn't like the paranormal reference to the guy. I've read so many paranormal books that one more and I would shout at that time. This is Book 4 in an unnamed 4-book series.

I don't often give books 5-star ratings. Her Secret Guardian earned that designation because it is extremely well-written and there are some gut-wrenching plot twists (you know, that slight tightness you feel in your stomach when you read something very poignant and touching).

We encounter our hero very early in the book, but like the heroine, we don't know who he is, what his name is, or why he has a relationship with the heroine until much, much later....more

I absolutely loved it. This is the first book I read by this author, but it's one of those books you just can't put away once you read the first few pages. It had honestly been a while since I felt this enthralled by a book. The caracters are well described, the plot is good and you just have to fall in love with the hero:-) looking forward to other books by miss Tyler Hayes.
