Firstly, I would like to thank the wonderful Bonnie Wheeler for sending me a copy of her sequel Blood Twist. Needless to say it was amazeballs!!

Secondly, it has to be said, Garrick is a complete and utter douche canon. That is all.

And thirdly… well, read on…

I have been dying for this book to be released since reading Fate Fixed back in October last year. I love how Bonnie is able to properly portray what full-blooded Vampires and Werewolves would ACTUALLY be like in real life. To put it simply,

The highly anticipated second book in the Erris Coven series, Blood Twist delivers all the romance and action of it's predecessor Fate Fixed. Continuing the series, Liz has come to Erris to find out why her best friend Lexie hasn't called or emailed for months. Once she arrives she walks in on the aftermath of Alik's challenge for power in Lexie's basement. Braden finds her in the middle of the bloody chaos and immediately admires how she handles the shock that werewolves and dhampirs are real. ...more

A picture’s worth a thousand words – or, at least, whatever it took to fill the glorious pages of this book.

Braden… oh, Braden… you adorable damphyr! The hero, the good guy… tortured without being a pining loser, tall, sexy, blonde…. I love it! I’m not sure how constructive this review can become beyond an awe-stricken love letter – scratch that – marriage proposal. Swoon! Hold me! I can’t tell if it’s strictly cruelty or just a generous act from the hand of God that the Erris Coven boys are fi

As I am writing this I am exhausted. Why and I so tired? I was up most of the night because I simply could not put this book down. I became an instant fan of this series when I read Fate Fixed. Bonnie has created this amazing world where familiar lore is blended with new and fascinating lore. Bonnie has an amazing ability to blend the darkness of the vampire/were/paranormal word with sweet romance.
In Blood Twist, we finally get a glimpse at the shadows Braden has been living his life under. We

I was SO happy when I finally got to find out what happened next after reading Fate Fixed forever ago. Even though this book had a bit more blood and gore in it than the first book, it was still really good. My favorite thing was definitely Liz and Braden's relationship, it had so much spark and passion, I just couldn't stop reading.

I love how we got to see the POV from 2 different characters that had been bri

I've been waiting for this sequel and hoping it would be as great as the first one in the series. Imagine my pleasure to discover it was even better! The author that got me into young adult paranormal has topped herself! This is a book with characters that you love, hate, want in your family or in your arms! Her characters are true and real in a book full of untrue and unreal situations.

If you want love story, its there for you. If you want gory and shocking blood, that's there for you also. But do

I have had The Erris Coven series sitting on my TBR list for a while just begging for me to read them and so the blog tour for Blood Twist gave me the perfect chance to do just that. Fate Fixed was such a great start to the series and I really enjoyed it, but Blood Twist was just exceptional!!! I do admit to being a bit disappointed that book two in the series wasn't a continuation of Lexie and Torin's story but once I was a few pages in that disappointment was out the window.

I'm not going to ge

This book continues the Erris Covin series. Bonnie doesn't disappoint with her second sequel to "Fate Fixed". This novel while it compliments the first one ,delves much deeper into the Damphire legend. No I didn't mispell that. In movies most sequels aren't up to par with the original but this is not the case with "Blood Twist". The story that Bonnie lays out continues to draw you deeper in. I hope Bonnie doesn't end this series anytime soon it is too good and I don't want it to end. It is not a ...more

Recommends it for: YA Paranormal Romance, Vampire lovers
After leaving Erris in the good and watchful care of Torin and the Damphyrs at the end of Fate Fixed, we re-enter the magical world of Bonnie Wheeler's imagination, picking up where we left off. Book One is Torin and Lexie's story, Book Two - Blood Twist - is Liz and Braden's.

The Good: This author is gifted at creating authentic, likeable characters that permeate the entire book. I love Liz. I loved her from the moment she showed up and helped out. I also loved how she interspersed current event

Braden Murphy is a half-vampire…and that’s not his only secret. He’s a tortured soul who struggles between protecting his family and dealing with the evil that’s forcing his life in a direction he doesn’t want to go. Liz Sanders has led a complicated life with an absent father who’s broken her heart over and over. Brought together to save a family member’s life, they’re far from ready to deal with love and totally unprepared for the evil they’re about to face.

I’m always impressed when the second

3.5 Stars... New Vampire fun!!

Blood Twist is a fast paced book and takes place after the conclusion of the first book in the series Fate Fixed. In Blood Twist there are two new main characters that were introduced to us in Fate Fixed, but this is their journey.

Liz came to town after she received a letter in the mail from Lexie, her BFF. Lexie wasn't happy with her family situation and was unable to communicate via modern technology, so instead of trying to reply, Liz decided to visit instead. W

I loved this book just as much as book one. I liked how book one wrapped up the relationship of Lexie and Tornin. We are introduced to Lexies Best friend in book one, Liz, and know of Braden, Torin’s cousin.

Well in this book Blood Twist, it follows Braden and Liz and a whole bunch of other exciting things. We see a return of Braden’s long lost older brother, who went to the “dark” side, if you read book one, you will know what I mean. I do not want to give anything away, as that is what is so g

Really good sequel! After almost a year after reading Fate Fixed, I was surprised at how easy it was for me to fall back into the Erris. I could definetly detect a growth in the authors writing, and though the book started out slower than the last one, the world building packed a good punch and kept me avidly turning pages. Though this book wasn't as romance centered as I expected I was quite happy with how Liz and Branden's relationship played out. I could see them falling in love and when they ...more

(I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to the lovely Bonnie Erina Wheeler.)
This is the second book in the ‘Erris Coven’ series, and kicks off where the first book ‘Fate Fixed’ left off. This book is told from the point of view of Liz – Lexie’s best friend.
Liz has come up to Erris Coven to check on Lexie who has been uncontactable, only to find herself in the middle of the mess that happened at the end of book 1. (Don’t want to give away any spoilers)

I received Blood Twist in return for a honest review as part of the tour hosted by SuperGurlTours. Blood Twists starts right after the end of Fate Fixed. When Lexie moved to Maine she left her best friend Liz behind but was able to send a cryptic email before her internet was taken away from her as punishment. Liz knew she couldn’t live without her best friend and knew her best friend needed her, with a little push she was able to talk her aunt Bev into letting her drive up to Maine to check on ...more

I knew I would be getting to bed late tonight as I wanted to read and finish book two of the series, (Erris Coven Series). Blood Twist picks up right where Fate Fixed left off. Lexie's BFF from Connecticut has arrived to help Lexie out and insists on traveling with handsome Braden Murphy to Ireland to receive the cure for lycanthropy for Lexi's infected mother. To Liz's surprise, they end up in Vancouver Canada????

While there, Braden confronts Riley, his older brother. Riley had turned, as do al

I attempted to read Blood Twist before reading Fate Fixed simply because of time. That was a bad idea. While there’s a lot of backstory in the front end of Blood Twist that should get a reader caught up, it ended up just really dragging the story down. I found myself skipping all kinds of information and by the time I got to the story, I had no idea who anyone was.

So…I went to the first book, Fate Fixed.

Okay! So, back to our regularly scheduled review. Once I picked this one back up, I went ahe

Wheeler created some awesome characters that each have their own story to tell. And in this story we get Braden and Liz’s story. We find out that Braden has been hiding a huge secret from his family and it was all for their safety. What he didn't plan on was bringing Liz into the mix. The last thing he would ever want to do is hurt her or put her in harm’s way. Liz just wants to find the cure for Lexie’s mother. But having to trust Braden to help get that cure is going to be hard for her. Liz do ...more

If you have already read the first book of the series: Fate Fixed you've already been introduced to the characters of this book Braden and Liz.

Braden is the oldest of the covens 4 cousins and feels its his responsibility, as the oldest, to protect his family and the coven and in the process he's given up so much. He wanted to go to college, fall in love, and just have what everyone else had but time is running out for him. He never told anyone about a strange dark presence coming to him at scho

Blood Twist is the second book in the Erris Coven series. You can find my review of Fate Fixed, the first book in the series. Blood Twist continues right where Fate Fixed left off. It is necessary to read this series in order because the story progresses that way and you get to know more about the characters. Also, there are a lot of things happening simultaneously and the consequences which the characters have to face are of their actions in the previous book.

So I really liked the first book in this series, Fate Fixed. It is a totally different take on Vampires and Soul mates. So I had a really good idea of what to expect when I started reading Blood twist… and I was so not disappointed!

This is Liz and Braden’s story, and although I was a little disappointed that I have to wait to hear Teagan’s Story (ok so maybe I play favorites) I was still excited to here Braden’s story because in Fate Fixed he always seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder, so

Book two in the Coven series takes off right were we left off from Fate Fixed. Lexi and Torins love story is completed there are a couple questions that you are left asking like will Ruby be ok? Will Alik come back for revenge? With those questions still unanswered its time to move on the next half vampire in the coven. Told from the pov of Braden, Liz, and “death” we are in for more suspense, thrills, and love. What will happen when the eccentric Liz comes to town to help out Lexi and her famil

In Fate Fixed we follow Lexie through her meeting and binding to Torin, learning what he and is family are, and finding her place in their world. Blood Twist follows her best friend Liz while she tries to help clean up the mess caused by the werewolves, and along the way falls for Braden.

I really, really enjoyed this book. The ending left on a cliffhanger, which is what the last one did as well. But I have nothing to go on, since the next book won't come out for a few months!! Whose story is it going to be, Teagan's or Cian's? And what happened to Riley, and is Ruby healed? Definitely not looking forward to having to wait for the next book! This would've been five stars, but the errors and mistakes throughout left me feeling disappointed. Not because it took away from the book, ...more
