Christmas Angel by Lisa Marie Rice ~ 4.5 stars.

For what this story was, I really liked it. I liked it A LOT better than her contribution in the Secrets: Volume 9 edition. While it was pretty hot and pretty emotional, this was waaay too short. Only 33 pages. I wish it could have been longer. And since I'm wishing, I wish it could have had more time spent with the hero and heroine together.

I'm so sad. I have no more Lisa Marie Rice books left to read. I guess I could read the Elizabeth Jennings

Recommends it for: Fans of erotic anthologies with a Christmas theme
Six short stories, all erotic, some romantic, some down-right silly, all with a Christmas holiday theme…

First up, Passion in a Pear Tree by Tawny Taylor

When Destiny receives a Christmas present from her sister--a nearly nude hunk holding a potted pear tree and determined to give her the best 24 hrs. of her life--she decides to go for it. But her hunk has a secret…and Destiny is going to need a little Christmas magic and a declaration to make her Christmas dreams come true.

This was one wacky stor
- 'Passion and a Pear Tree' by Tawny Taylor (2 stars)
- 'A Christmas Phantasie' by Kit Tunstall (2 stars)
- 'Hot for Santa' by Lacey Alexander (3 stars)
- 'Christmas Angel' by Lisa Marie Rice (4 stars)

Did Not Read:
- 'Elf Song' by Samantha Winston
- 'Snow Angel' by Joey W. Hill

Very short stories are perfect when I don't have the time to devote myself to an entire book.

So far, I've read:
#1. "Passion on a Pear Tree" by Tawny Taylor
- Cute paranormal read. Very short.

#6. "Snow Angel" by Lisa Marie Rice
I enjoyed this one. Nicely done, very short.

Recommends it for: romance readers who either like Lisa Rice or else enjoy oneshots
I love one-shots when it's manga. Not so much when it's a romance short story. A female diplomat fell in love with a man who disappeared after a week. She's still heartbroken a year later, but they're unexpectedly reunited. Nothing special, and there wasn't enough time to get attached to the characters. I have to say--what an appalling cover. I guess I don't have much of a sense of humor about me reading romance.

Now I'm really sad. This is the last of Rice's current releases that I had left to r
Multi-author anthology of short stories [and some of them are VERY short:] set at Christmas. I liked the Lisa Marie Rice story Christmas Angel the best - nice HEA. I also liked Joey W. Hill's Snow Angel - the kinky bondage stuff was actually explained! The other stories were typical - if the choice was between developing a plot, building a character or a hot sex scene, guess which one wins!
Just too short! I want to read for longer.
