This book didn't turn out to be what I expected.

That's not necessarily a bad thing (and in this case it wasn't), it was just...unexpected.

Clear, concise, excellent overview of source evaluation as well genealogical evidence standards. This book is a must for professional and amateur genealogists alike. Why the concern with evidence quality? Research is time-consuming and careful evaluation of sources can prevent a great deal of wasted time tracking someone who had the 'same name' but was not the 'same person.'
