I enjoy this series, although the plot has become less focused than it was in earlier volumes. The important parts in this book should have made a bit more "sound." I felt like I had to dig. The Weirdo Woods/Candyland map was brilliance--and it's probably the first time we actually see how Chiaki views his progressing relationship with Nodame.
