Bayou Moon is a great summer read, mostly because it takes place on the bayou - hence, a lot of heat and southern flavor to match the current climate. I've always loved to match my reading with the season, and this is a perfect fit. Captivating Read

I chose this rating because the characters were so well written it was like knowing each and everyone of them. Hope both families find the peace they deserve.

Others say it has a slow start, so maybe I just didn't give it enough time? But I just couldn't get into it and saw where the plot was going...

Bayou Moon

I love books set in the south. Bayou Moon had great mystery with some paranormal. Romance that was not over the top.

I'm not typically the mystery book reader. But because it had supernatural elements, it combined it very well. I loved it!

Her mother ran off with the local gentry, she and her father were run out of town....years later she returns many laters looking for answers. And eventually she gets the answers after rsiking her life to learn long lost secrets. Add in a little superstition, some romance and you have an excellent read.

I'm not big on romance/thrillers, but I really enjoyed this one. It kept my interest trying to figure out what the heroine was trying to accomplish.
