I am pretty sure that this is the second book that I ever read by myself. I think the thing that I loved the most about it was that the main character looks like me! I also loved that there was a turtle at her school. Later on, I was sad that my Kindergarten didn't have a turtle. I still like turtles to this day.

This has always been a favorite book of mine. After reading it again as an adult,i realized that the classroom in the story is very similar to how i feel that i want to organize my classroom. It really promotes imagination, sharing, and innocence that are so fun in elementary school. It lets children know that they should be excited to go to school when the teacher makes sure that every student is acknowledged and encouraged in their dreams.
This was one of my favorite books when I was little. I drove my mom crazy asking her to read it all the time.
My favorite Golden Book from my childhood and I made sure I read it to my kids. Still one of the best.
One of my favorite books growing up. Just came across it recently and still like and enjoy it!!!

Charming pictures by Eloise Wilkin. The text is nothing special but I do like its simplicity. The book is a bit dated; the kindergarten pictured is more like preschool today. (Although how many teachers play the piano for their students to sing? Too bad times have changed so much.)
I really loved this book growing up and still have my copy somewhere. I think this is a good book for young children who are getting ready to go to school--preschool or kindergarten--to show some things that might go on at their new school and help ease some anxiety.
This is the first book I ever read by myself. I remember sitting my parents down with me on their bed and reading to them from cover to cover. I still keep it on my bookshelf to this day.
Pernah jadi buku favorit Naila. Waktu itu dia baru bisa ngomong. Kalau minta dibacakan, Naila bilang, "Bunda baca buku betapa!"
