'It Started With A Tree' takes readers on a journey from the banks of the River Esk in Scotland, south past Dover and Calais, west with the flow of the currents across the Atlantic, thence to meet with the mouth of the mighty Amazon River. Eliza Earsman is truly a gifted wordsmith who educates her readers on the beauty and intricacies of creation. There is a harmony to all living things that connect us and bring us to look upon the One who authored our world, giving us a big picture that points to truth. The prose along with the illustrations are delightful, keeping the story moving as one ponders the circle of life and our purpose within it.
