IMO both Jon and Haley should have called it quits. Jon was too sensitive and Haley seemed selfish, even distant after she had discussed her past with Jon. Jon, on the other hand, came across as someone who took every thing the wrong way. And sex, he was far too worried about his 'size' and not wanting to hurt Haley, which got annoying. I couldn't envision these two falling in love, ever. And despite them saying the 'L' word, the conflicts that rose between them seemed petty and not like two peo ...more
This book got off to a really slow start. Haley and Jon had a bit too much indecisiveness between them regarding jumping the gun and starting a relationship. I think it took too long for them to make up there mind and move forward. This almost made me want to put the book down. I'd say half way through the book things finally started to pick up and I started to enjoy the book a bit. Overall the story was just ok, but not something I would recommend.
It felt like the female character had to rush her feelings and then the pages were filled with typical sappy romance. I don't think writers know how to build up suspense anymore past the 1st 2 chapters. I don't want to know if there going to sleep together the writing should convey will a relationship develop. However, the title should have made me know better.
