All Things Urban Fantasy
CRAVE THE NIGHT gives us four stories of star-crossed lovers kept apart by politics, physiology, or just plain stubbornness. A short, sweet anthology that I devoured in one sitting; though none of the stories were good enough to prompt re-reading, I felt like I got a favorable introduction to all of the authors in general and will seek out two of them in the future.

The two stories that fell below my “active interest” threshold were Sharon Ashwood’s Hidden and Michele Hauf’s Cruel Enchantment. As...more

This anthology contains four novellas, each featuring a different brand of supernatural love story. There is not a lot of cohesion among the offerings. They vary in everything from the tone... to the hot-factor... to even the species of supernaturals involved. There wasn't one that was boring, but I enjoyed the last two quite a bit more than the others.

"Hidden" - Lila is in trouble. The beautiful Fae princess has made a binding deal with a human trying to take over the forests where her people...more

No human paranormal pairings here and the four authors offer a is a nice mix of heroes and heroines with fangs, fur and fins(!) finding the one who satisfies their steamiest cravings. And despite the mix, one thing all of the stories had in common was that none of the stories felt too short.

Hidden by Sharon Ashwood - Light Fae Lila must be merciless, whether it be by tricking , conjoling or coercing she needs Rafe's werewolf pack to sign away the mineral right to Pack lands - The perceptive Rafe...more

Hidden by Sharon Ashwood -- 3/5
Lila and Rafe are a cute couple, but they don't hold a candle to Sharon's characters in her full length novels. This was not my favorite Ashwood piece of writing, which I am sad to say, since I've loved every book I've read in her series thus far. If this anthology is your first foray into her writing, I highly suggest you give her a second chance if you found HIDDEN to be anything less than amaz...more

I was so disappointed with this book, it has stories from 3 authors, Patti O'Shea, Lori Devoti, and Sharon Ashwood, I enjoy. I started the story by each of these authors, but didn't finish a one. They just couldn't catch my interest. In the end this one just wasn't for me.

I really enjoyed this book as 3 of the 4 authors I hadn't read anything of theirs before. Michele story never let me down once again love her style on writing. Look forward to read more of the other authors books a great collection.

This anthology was a 50/50 shot for me. Nothing I will come back and read again, but enough to pique my interest in more from these authors in the future.
