Good book. I liked Jess and how she was trying so hard to protect her son. It was not easy for her to stand up to her bullying ex-husband. Now that Chase is back in town, she has to depend on him when she is accused on attempted murder. Even though he feels that he can never be a father, he cares for Danny and relates to him very well. I liked the way things happened at the end.
