Susan
I really enjoyed this book. Marissa knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it. She didn't expect to get more than she bargained for though. Her night with Jupiter was far better than she knew was possible. Dante wasn't expecting to meet a mysterious and sexy Juno either. He knew he couldn't give more than that one night, but he wished he could. When he pursued Marissa as the perfect future queen, he couldn't explain the feelings of passion and familiarity -- but he was happy to take ...more

This was a great novel and although it was pretty much fairytale, I did enjoy it immensely. I wasn't expecting it to be what it was at all.
Melinda
This story felt like cinderella with a twist. Marissa is being manipulated by her mother for the sake of political alliances but she decides that she can't control all of her life but she can control how, when and where she loses her virginity. She has an amazing night with a masked man at a ball. And then tries to continue with her life.

What I enjoyed is that while they are both trying to obey the duties of their societies, they keep thinking about their mystery lovers. And they are getting to

I bought this book at the beginning of the month. It's rare that I actually get around to reading books I bought so soon, but I was in the mood for something Christmas-y. I thought Marissa and Dante were well thought out characters. I really did believe their romance and I didn't think it was too rushed despite the fact that the story took place over a few months time. I was wondering how they would find out that (view spoiler) ...more
Fayley
Made it 2 pages and realized it was just too silly, even for a romance.

Tried again. I suspended belief ad it wasn't the worst book ever after all.
Esther
Great read. Really liked these two characters and their romance!!! The hero was perfect and really love the heroine.
Joanne
Princess Marissa wanted one night for herself before she had to do her duty and marry. A masquerade ball was the perfect chance. One dance with a stranger and the princess found her true love but she could only have one night, or could she have more?
Snarky Mom
Basic Harlequin romance with a nice holiday theme, HEA and good Mommy brain-drain :).

Brenda’s first love was reading.

According to her mother, she fell in love with books even before she could read and was always content when she had a book in her hands. It didn’t surprise anyone when she decided that she wanted to be a writer, but she was encouraged to pursue “a real job” first.

So she did—she became a lawyer. Two years of practicing law taught her a lot about the world—and reinfor
