How do I rate this when I could write the whole plot at the back of a stamp.
***Spoiler alert***
It wasn't particularly bad. I actually enjoyed learning more about Chelsea and Shannon. But I'm quite disappointed to know that Chelsea tried to win Drew back because 'I look better than Lizzie with her out of control hair' or 'Lizzie always gets the guys' or 'Drew and I are meant to be together'. Chelsea said she loved Drew, either she is delusional or l...more

Being a relatively short story from Chelsea's-- Lizzie's best friend-- point of view, it was fun and interesting to see the story her way. I think that the overall plot was well-paced and while it was a little mediocre and not over-the-top-exciting, Vengeance was an adequate read that fits between the first and last installment in the Transcend Time series.

I loved Remembrance so i was obviously going to love Vengeance. I can empathise with Chelsea. yes, Lizzie and Drew are made for each other but Chelsea feels betrayed. it's understandable when she doesn't understand the undying love Lizzie and Drew share. but every story needs the jealous ex to stir up some trouble, and Chelsea's perfect for that role. can't wait for the next book
So this is more of a novella or short story than an actual novel. Instead, as the synopsis says, it more sets the stage for book three than continues the story in its own right (if that makes sense).
Chelsea is pissed (and understandably so) that her best friend and boyfriend are now dating. When she gets the chance to make things end the way they did the first time, she jumps at the chance. But in Chelsea's defense, she just sees the end result (she ends up with Drew the way she did the first ti...more

Chelsea came off as a very one-sided, cruel character in this book, which is probably what Michelle Madow intended. However, I have serious problems with these types of shallow characters; I believe to make a good book you've got to show different sides of at least the main lead(s). I know this was just a short story, but this depiction of Chelsea just didn't sit right with me.

This book wasn't bad. The problem is that it just doesn't go anywhere. It's a placeholder between the two other books in the series, and those kind of stories irritate me. It's very short (it's marketed that way, no one's trying to trick you into thinking that you're paying for a full length novel. I don't know if the author meant to write Vengeance as a way to stay fresh in her readers minds, or if she had an idea and was unable to develop into a full length novel. I strongly suspect that when...more
This is definitely a bridge that needed to be made. I love how the author is tying the two books together with what happens in between and getting us all excited about what might happen in the final book. It's the teasiest of teasers.
We left off the first book with Lizzie and Drew getting together and leaving Chelsea behind, so we start of this book with Chelsea's point of view. She has a nagging feeling that things did not turn out the way they were supposed to. She is absolutely sure that she...more

Vengeance is a short story that falls between the first and last books of the Transcend Time Saga by Michelle Madow. In the first book, Remembrance, we learn the story of Lizzie and Drew, while Vengeance is from Lizzie’s best friend Chelsea. Chelsea was hurt to find out her boyfriend and best friend went behind her back and started dating. Her friend, Shannon, want to help her get Drew back, and get revenge on Lizzie for her betrayal.

Remembrance ends with Drew dumping Chelsea to be with Lizzie. Naturally, Chelsea felt very betrayed by Lizzie. Somehow, she kept having the feeling that things should not turn out the way it was.
Chelsea had some help from Shannon's aunt who made her have a glimpse of her past--with someone who looks like Drew. Shannon's aunt deals with a little magic and psychic and she gave Chelsea a potion and a choice to make everything the same as her past life.

VENGEANCE is a short story that takes place between the first book and last books of the Transcend Time series. Unlike the first book this novella is told in Chelsea's point of view instead of Lizzie's Chelsea learns about her past life and decides to take matters into her own hands to make sure she ends up with Drew no matter what.
This book was amazing! I was hesitant to read it at first because I wasn't a big fan of Chelsea's in REMEMBRANCE. Although this is a short story, I'm glad to say that...more

Vengeance is a short story told from Chelsea’s point of view that bridges the gap between Remembrance and the final novel in the Transcend Time Saga. The story picks up the day after Vengeance ends and follows Chelsea still attempting to deal with the betrayal of her best friend and loss of her boyfriend. Luckily, she finds solace in her burgeoning friendship with Shannon, who might just have a way of lifting Chelsea’s spirits.

I was excited to start reading Vengeance, because this time, it was from Charlotte's point of view. Vengeance is a short story, (as you can see above, its only 64 pages). This is probably going to be a very short review, because it is a very short book.
It was mostly based on Charlotte, and I didn't get to see much of Lizzie. I really enjoyed reading those 64 pages, because it was exciting to know how Charlotte felt about the whole idea of Lizzie and Drew dating. Reading this has actually got me...more

Vengeance is a short story that bridges the events that happened in the first novel “Remembrance” and the final novel in the Transcend Time Saga “Timeless”.
During this short visit back to the world of Lizzie and Drew, we get to follow Chelsea’s thoughts and life. You can imagine she’s not a happy girl right now, as her best friend stole her boyfriend from her. And not just any boyfriend, Drew was actually the first guy she ever really loved. Hmmm... Okay, here I go.
I was somewhat disappointed in this short story. Although I knew it was a “bridge” between Remembrance and Timeless, I didn’t feel it added anything amazingly novel to the story. Or maybe I just have to read Timeless to know its importance in the saga.

Vengeance is a short story that is the next installment in the Transcended Time Saga.
Chelsea had her heart broken by Drew, the guy she loved and her best friend, Lizzie. She desperately wanted Drew back but at the same time desired revenge. Since she had nothing to lose she made a new friendship with Shannon since Lizzie was her only close friend. Shannon’s aunt had told her that someone at her school would experience what Chelsea just did. The aunt told her to br...more

I loved Remembrance, so when I found out Madow was releasing the second part of the Transcend Time Saga, I couldn't wait to read it. And it definitely did not disappoint. Chelsea is obviously very upset, feeling as if she's been betrayed by both her boyfriend and best friend, so when someone offers her the opportunity to right what she believe has gone horribly wrong, she must decide whether to accept the offer, or move on. What would you do? By the end of the story, Madow had me dying for more....more
Okay, where to start?
I must say, Chealsea is really getting in to my nerves. I was mad at her the whole time i was reading. She's the one that's selfish not Liz. She's been like, "oh. Liz is not a good friend, she didn't even consider my feelings. She stole my boyfriend. Blah blah blah"
first she did not steal her boyfriend, Drew broke up with him. And liz was feeling guilty even if she's hurting her. And Liz was a good friend. She's been trying so hard to tell her so Liz wont hurt her feelings...more

If you thought the first part of this sage was short well then get ready because this part is even shorter. This book is pretty much takes place after the first book ends but instead of it being from Lizzie’s point of view like the first one you are seeing what happens with Chelsea after everything happens in the end of Remembrance.
However, as much as I dislike Chelsea I do like the turn that this part of the book takes. It has just enough build that it keeps you wanting and guessing. Honestly,...more

As short stories go, this one was really interesting. When I read Remembrance, I knew Madow would write a continuation, because even though Lizzie got the guy, her story didn't feel finished yet. Though short, this story tells us a lot about how Chelsea (Lizzies best friend) felt about Lizzie and Drew's relationship. I got the impression that its told a couple of days after the events of Remembrance, and it is completely from Chelsea's point of view. Even if I don't agree with Chelsea, I do simp...more
I am so excited that Vengeance is told from Chelsea’s point of view because many readers hated her after reading Remembrance. Personally, I always felt really bad for Chelsea because from her perspective her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend.
After reading Vengeance, I feel even more sympathetic towards Chelsea. Hearing Chelsea’s side of the story at the beginning of Vengeance was really heart-breaking. I can’t say any more than that or I’d be giving out spoilers, but if you didn’t li...more

This is a short story written in the POV of Chelsea.
I understand from her POV that her life wasn't fair and i do feel sorry for her. Chelsea believes that Drew and her were meant to be together and while Lizzie and Drew believes they were meant for each other.
*sigh*
Some love triangle isn't it.
I really do disliked Chelsea. She only thinks about herself and doesn't look from others from their view. It's like she's just going into conclusion. She's naively stubborn.

Vengeance is a short novella that bridges the story in Michelle Madow’s Transcend Time series. I read Remembrance a couple of weeks ago and was captured by the story.
Even though this was a short, easy read, it was nice to see a different POV from someone else in the story. It picks up right where Remembrance left off and leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next installment of this series.

This is not really going to be a review, because the story is super short and going on about it for too long would ruin for other readers (you know how I like to avoid spoilers), but I needed to write something anyway.
