I love alphabet books, and since the Olympics are coming soon, I had to read this one. I learned much about Olympic history from this book. One of the interesting facts I learned was that Anders Haugen thought he came in fourth place in a ski jumping event in 1924. However, 50 years later a scoring error was discovered, so he was awarded a bronze medal at age 83.

I love Sleeping Bear press books, and this one is no exception. We are studying the Olympics and the younger kids enjoyed the rhyming text and the older kids (and Mom) learned alot about the history of the Olympics.
