Standing before Fire Control Officer Matt Cutter is a five-year-old replica of himself--the son he never knew he had. All Matt wants to do is hug little Davie and make up for the lost years. But forest ranger Andie Foster, the boy's mother whom Matt left behind, is understandably afraid. How can Matt possibly explain the lapse of faith--in God and himself--that drove him a

I received this book as a First Read.

The Forest Ranger's Husband is about Matt Cutter, a fire control officer, who relocates to the same town as his estranged wife, Andie, and discovers he has an almost 6 year old son. The book deals with the family's struggles of forgiveness and reconciliation.

The one thing that really bothered me in the book is that when the two first see each other again for the first time, Andie says it has been 5 years, 4 months, and 13 days since they last saw each other.
Forest ranger Andie Foster (Cutter) is in her office and standing before her is her estranged husband, Matt Cutter, who is now an FCO (Fire Control Officer) and will be working with her in the Enlo Ranger District in Enlo, Nevada. He’d previously worked his way up the ranger corporate ladder in Oregon, neglecting to take his family with him. Now, in Andie’s office, five years later, he is confronted with his spitting image in the form of their son, Davie.

This romance is terrific. You have a coup
Great book!!! Unlike A LOT of LI books though, the main couple Andie Foster and Matt Cutter are married, but estranged.

Don't really feel like doing a storyline review....I LOVED Matt!!! Who wouldn't (you'll see why when/if you read this book! Even though he abandonded his family (of course, he didn't know Andie was pregnant when he left.) Leigh makes sure to explain why he did what he did, to the point that you can understand and even sympathize with him. (Not an easy thing to make a man who aba
It was a cute story. Didn't totally suck me in, but I did enjoy reading it when I did pick it up. It did take me a while to read though.

The Forest Ranger's Husband by Leigh Bale is even better than the first book in the series, which is saying a whole lot because The Forest Ranger's Promise was excellent. Leigh's heroes are smokin' hot, super masculine, and just plain hunky. I love the romantic tension in this author's stories. Plus, it's a delight to read about something I know nothing about...being a forest ranger.

This story was fast paced, extremely interesting, and very romantic. Some places kept me on the edge of my pillow,
Sweet story of finding what you lost and fixing the mistakes you made. Even if your not a religious person you can enjoy this book for the real problems faced. Not only having to overcome physical pain but emotional pain as well. You have to work as well has have faith that you are strong and can overcome your pain and move past it to the joy life can give you.
LOVED this book! More later. ;-)
Good, solid romance. Would recommend.
