OMG! Here's another one from this series. Honestly, this book isn't quite as good as the one about buildings, becuase the illustrations aren't quite as detailed. Still, it's a lot of fun for kids to see what their heart looks like, lungs, digestive system, eyes, inner ears, brain, skin, etc. (The book is "suitable for all audiences" in case you're concerned about that.) I like that this book included the skin, because honestly, I don't think I gave any thought to the skin as an organ ...more

The book See in Side Your Body is a great book to show the travel of the food that you eat go throw your body. You also will learn about many different things that your body does since as your brain, lungs, and ears.

Hey, another book about the body! I'm so original.
For such a short book, this is packed with information. While it is not in-depth, it would more than work for kindergarten, maybe even first grade. We're using it with the Joe Kaufman book. My kids love to lift the bazillion flaps and the pictures are very well done and very informative. The text, while short, is accurate and clear. I don't feel this speaks down to the kids like the other Usborne book does.

"See Inside Your Body" is a wonderful informational book. Every page has a different part of the body and flaps to life to learn more about certain areas. This would be another great book to have as a resource for a class project.
