T.M. Simmons stepped into the world of the paranormal with the guidance of her Aunt Belle. Using their unique psychic abilities they investigated paranormal activities together and separately. With her curiosity and writing skills, T.M. documented her adventures through the years correlating them into a series of books.

Ghost Hunting Diary Volume 1 was interesting and educational in understanding more about the world of entities. The writing was straight forward with facts and ghost hunting tips

T.M. Simmons' Ghost Hunting Diary Volume 1 is a mostly entertaining introduction to the author's storied career as a self styled "ghost hunter." Naturally, being a collection of diary entries, the book is somewhat brief, and perhaps a bit truncated - as well as somewhat anticlimactic overall. But then, I suppose, when reading a book with "Volume 1" tacked onto the title, that is to be expected.

There were at least a half dozen or more typos and missing words, as well as quite a number of awkwardl

Rather than a big team of people with ultra up-to-date tech equipment, this book is about the activities of 'natural' psychics who are hunting ghosts without all the scientific equipment. There is a very interesting story about a haunted house, the investigation, and how the investigation involved talking with two ghosts who gave a number of specific details. These details were later checked out and found to be accurate, including the name of one of the ghosts and her married lover which was fou ...more

This was available as free on the Nook reading app from Barnes & Noble.
This is the only reason why i decided to read this 'book'. I say 'book' because it was a very short read, Only 85 pages actually.
If this book cost even 99 cents, I would not pay for this ridiculous book.

I frequently spotted typographical and grammatical errors throughout this book.
I'm wondering how she could ever publish this without proofreading.
Like others have stated, you get what you pay for. It was a big waste of
I downloaded this book from the Kindle store because it was free. Well as I have always been told you get what you pay for. I will admit that the book was interesting but Sorry to the author I do not believe any of this is true. Please be aware that this review may contain spoilers.

This book is suppose to be about true encounters with ghost. Maybe it is just me but sorry again I do not believe in ghost. While the stories were interesting I find them hard to believe. But then I guess if I believe

Those that don't believe in ghosts, or at least have an open mind on the subject, probably shouldn't read this book. They would just think it hogwash or superstitious drivel. There are quite a few interesting stories in this book, but I find it hard to judge if the quality of the storytelling makes up for all of the errors.

It was actually kind of entertaining when I realized that not only the author capitalized The Light when talking of a ghost moving on towards The Light, but anytime as well.

Good read

I read this really fast partly because its a subject I love but also because its very short. I'm glad it was free because I wouldn't pay to read such a short book. I found the author very knowledgeable but sometimes a bit cocky.

After reading this book, I was intrigued with the ammount of information and experience provided within the Diary. Most of which I read was a little less believable than other encounters, but still, I was drawn into the moment of the investigation. Most of the hauntings within the diary do tie in with other investigations to the same locations within other journals/diaries. Regardless of the truthfulness of some of them, I find this Diary an easy read, and it does draw you into the moment as if ...more

I was disappointed in this book. I enjoyed the first story/encounter about the ghosts that haunt a bed and breakfast in St. Francisville, Louisiana and the 2nd story/encounter, Crossing Over was okay, but it went downhill from there. The first 2 stories, I had an eerie feeling reading, but the other stories/encounters just didn't do anything for me. It felt incredulous to me. In a way, I felt as if I wasted my time reading this book. Luckily, it was a relatively short book and I had picked this ...more

I downloaded the book from Amazon because it was free and I thought I'd check it out. I have to say, like many others, I enjoyed the first couple of stories, then after that, I just couldn't finish. I would have liked it if it had kept going along the lines of telling about the ghost experiences instead of going the psychic/clairvoyant route of communicating with the dead.

I do not believe in many stuff but I do get thrilled when I read or watch something about paranormal activities. But unfortunately most of the stories in this book just did not have that affect on me.
The book was OK, since I did not pay for it and just downloaded from amazon for free. But if I had paid for this book I would be disappointed.

I loved the first two stories and the story about the pissed-off ghost but I didn't really like the rest. However the other stories weren't bad just a bit cheesy and unbelievable. These are nice stories to read before bedtime to get the thrill of ghost hunting.

Good story but there wasn't any photos included in this so it's hard to get it in ur head if its the truth or not. I would have love to have seen the author and her friends ghost hunting in these parts because I don't live in the United States.

Started out with interesting experiences at the Myrtles Plantation but the stories got progressively more 'entertaining' rather than believable.

This was a fun and interesting read. My only complaint, like a lot of people, is that it wasn't long enough :) Currently reading Volume 2.
I really like the first story about the Myrtles. The rest of the stories were just okay. A quick read.
