As a collection of 15 essays from a conference on Women in Landscape Architecture, this work mostly focuses on women in the profession prior to WWII. It uncovers the work of many women, particular and general, that is ignored in the City Beautiful movement. The perspective provided me with a deeper structure and understanding of my heritage as a practicing landscape architect.
